After the Stroman point I'd be interested to hear your rankings as to which of our DBs had the best game. From my seats I thought Clark was all over the field.
I guess the replay gripe for me is replays of penalties. They were few and far between and really left viewers in the dark.

Con: LBs....did Edmunds even make a tackle? Moto missed his usual share but at least he had multiple tackles.

# | Ask TKP: What's your one positive and negative takeaway from Battle at Bristol? Pro - Foster is still reliable to prepare his team for big games and make in game adjustments. Offensive playbook is exciting and we didn't seem to have many negative plays (when we didn't have penalties).
Con - poor preparation by the coaches for offense and special teams. Turnovers and penalties shows a lack of preparedness and discipline - that rests squarely on the coaches - in addition that he team didn't seem ready to handle the typical ups and downs of a competitive game and got caught up in the emotion / momentum.

Having watched at home - I figured out around the 2nd quarter they couldn't see anything the field - they were doing play by play by watching the tv monitor because they couldn't make out specific so the field.
While they were still the tank for UT, I'm not sure the commentating could have been better on specific plays given they were watching on a 12" monitor or via binoculars.

Absolutely, and UT was definitely the quieter of the two fan bases (unless they were singing Rocky Top..... WOO!)
That said, Lane at its worst (best) is louder than it ever got at BMS.
Thanks, Horse. I know from the earlier threads that my opinion is in the minority, but here at the Fish household, we thought the uniforms last night were awful. Glad for those who love that sort of thing, but on the field, the unis were less than even I had hoped. Tennessee looked like Tennessee, we looked like...Huh? Who? Wat da fuck?
Had we won, would I have softened my feelings? Maybe so, I'm a fan after all, but as it turned out? Nope.
oh, i know why. problem is that it's fundamentally unsound...like spending your entire paycheck on a single lottery ticket.
And while I'm sure I'm the only one who will say so at this point, I chose this particular comment to express my true feelings that our uniforms looked like shit last night to me. Hated them. No redeeming features, no wow factor, no nothing except who the hell is that playing Tennessee? Would I feel differently if we'd have won? I think I would have not bothered to comment, but since we're bitching...

# | Ask TKP: What's your one positive and negative takeaway from Battle at Bristol? Hill definitely had his share of growing pains. When he came in for Mihota, the first play was inverted veer and he sold out on the back instead of the QB and the end result was a huge gain by Dobbs.
Mook seemed exceptional at times.
