Eh, I disagree on the point about restoring wins. The fact that didn't handle it properly is wrong, but he gained no competitive advantage for it, so why do his results on the field matter? His actions as a person are what come into question. I don't have a problem with him having that record because his reputation as a person is what is deserving of criticism.

Smooth mesh points and good reads in the option game. Look for defenders being caught way out of position. Liberty is going to play soft and force the Hokies to put together long drives, so I wouldn't expect big plays. I want lots of 5-7 yard chunk runs and no turnovers in the passing game.

Reading it with positive inflection is obviously better, but opening with a counter point to your own opening statement could read like it was countering the previous posters.

# | Did Tennessee-Appalachian State Change Your Outlook of the Battle at Bristol? As an App alumn, I'm extremely frustrated. I can excuse the missed 42 yd FG, but I can't excuse the missed PAT. As a VT fan, I'm excited for a few reasons.
1. App was able to consistently get pressure on Dobbs with 3 to 4 pass rushers. Their interior DL were doing extremely well taking on double teams from the 2i and 3 techniques. This bodes will for our interior group.
2. App's DBs were able to get a lot of pressure on their receivers. With the exception of the long bomb to tie the game, they were consenting passes, and coming up to turn runs & screens back to the inside. The Vols passing game was horrid.
3. While App is ranked higher in the polls than VT, I would like to think that VT has better athletes as a whole compared to ASU. My heart tells me VT will win by 17, but my head tells me we will eek it out in a 1 score game.

The Vols were over-pursuing and would get burnt inside, and then sit on dives and the jet sweep would pop outside. Given the Fuente game plan, especially against Ole Miss, the Hokies are tailor made to give the Vols linebackers problems. They struggled even with Reeves-Maybin still in the game.

Last year it seemed like Ford, Phillips, and Bucky were on the field for almost all of the offensive snaps. With the new offense being more high-tempo, do you think there is a max percentage of snaps those guys can play in this offense, and how do you think the offense will function with the other receivers in when they spell the big 3?

They really only popped one deep ball all night, and it was poorly thrown. You hope our DBs can make the play. It would make sense that the Vols prepare to attack vertically, but last season, they really struggled to throw the ball down field.
