I think Fuente is pretty low-key and holds cards pretty close to the vest so if he didn't want to stir the pot he could've said nothing at all I think he's priming everyone to be unsurprised when Jackson is the starter in lieu of the comments he already made where Jackson was not mentioned as a potential starter

One might make an argument that this year, at the very least, William & Mary has the best team in Virginia, one that likely could beat both UVa AND Va Tech on a good Saturday. In some states the best teams are NOT from Division 1-A
Now I live less than 5 minutes from W&M's campus... I may need to go investigate the water supply to see what the hell is in that water. They could beat LOLUVA but not the Hokies.

I am on the other side of it, being a teacher and all. Every, caring and nurturing, parent I see goes through this from the moment they walk through the doors in Pre-K through 5th grade at my school. There are too many kids that I see that don't get those experiences with their parents and it can be eye openning.
Be glad for these moments because you are doing something right as a parent. Thank you for giving your kids these moments that build understanding of what matters most in life.
It's never too soon for that!! 1 per game may be a stretch, but I like where your head's at!

It also keeps Jackson engaged and thinking he's got a shot and is getting noticed, so hopefully he'll keep working hard on improving. With another stud coming in at QB next year, I don't personally care about the redshirt and love the message it sends to recruits.
I'd be curious to see what the community thinks as a whole. Is there a way to set up a poll where folks can vote for who they think will be the LU starter?
Predict score will be 41-17 Hokies. Figure we can do as well as West Virginia did with them last year.
As to why I feel they'll score at all on us (as per below post) = history. There were no games last year where the opponent had 0. There were only three games where our opponent scored less than 17 points: Furman (and Liberty is a better team than Furman), Boston College (worst offense ACC has seen in years and they still got 10), and N.C. State (pleasant surprise and one of our better games last year). Facts are a nasty thing, much as I loved the years when we had multiple games in which our opponents were scoreless. That aside, I'd still vote for the Emma meme.
