Oh the memories, you all got me with the waterworks, if only because the first was one of the lasting memories with my dad, I was in 8th grade, my brother was in Nawlins, and he let me stay up to watch the game and watching Mike Vick torch a very stout defense.

We watched Miami 03 on tv as a senior in high school, and after the Miami 04 watching in Pritchard, I called him, and he was just as excited as I was. He didn't get to watch another Hokie football game. But my brother and I sure made him one hell of a fan.

LSU 07, Foxridge
UVA 2011, first UVA beatdown as a father, 2nd as a stepfather, at my brother's house, and yes we talked about our dad. UVA is now a tradition, we all get together as a family, I bring the kids. My wife being the buckeye, has to have the UM OSU game on her phone. The Friday night UVA game was one of the best weekends so far.

just warming up to liking ginger ale, not yet knowing that bourbon when mixed with it is a glorious thing.

LEG.

Both played vs OSU, and it could be argued that Pitt was the best D we played the rest of the season. Not to mention that it seemed like Lefty was putting all his eggs in the Brewer basket, we really have to wonder how prepared Motley was to run the offense when he was forced to come in

January 3, 2000: Sugar Bowl: VT vs FSU (National Championship) - Was in high school and spent most of the game trying to figure out what a Hokie was.

I will be fairly surprised if Lawson plays at all for us in the coming years. I've been thinking since Evans committed that he's Fuente's guy. And Lawson has kind of been the odd man out since then. Hope he can find a spot though!

Excellent resurrection of a classic thread. Legs and double slices of pie to you sir.

Saban said that as punishment Robinson's back-up will be suspended for a game and one of the practice squad guys will be kicked off the team. "Robinson will have to live with knowing he let those guys down. I think that's punishment enough" he was quoted as saying.

I think Fuente already knows #1. But he needs 3 guys ready and for everyone, including #1, to keep working hard to get better.

There is enough talent on this team to compete for the division if he can get a QB who can consistently make the routine plays and Fu & Co know it.

For what it's worth, Bud was on the radio this afternoon. When asked about the QBs, he spoke about them in the following order: Evans, Motley, Lawson, Jackson. Note: no mention of click.

I think Fuente has a certain element of surprise in his favor going into the UT game. They probably are studying Memphis film, but they (and even us) don't really know what Fuente has up his sleeve and/or how he is going to utilize our players in his system. I think the uncertainty around who will be our QB and even what we have at the QB position plays into our favor. Motley has 6 starts on film from last year, albeit in a totally different system. We don't really know what we have in Evans right now, other than he was very highly-touted coming out of JUCO. I think Fuente will probably be pretty mum on the QB competition going into the Liberty game. We haven't really heard much information at all on anything, other than some snapchat clips and the very vanilla spring game. It definitely will be interesting to see how he handles this once camp starts.

Hah, I actually just thought about this today and laughed at my thread title. Leg.

Interesting how easily Dany seems to have fallen into using him as a spokesman and lieutenant, especially when she flies off on the dragon and leaves it to him to handle the master's armed escort and explain to the masters' negotiators that some of them have to die for their treachery. She seems to leave most of the words to Tyrion and orients herself more to actions. It has a really nice effect, especially the disdain it shows she holds for them to let them see their demise unfold rather than bothering to explain it. He does convince her to let some of them live and she seems swayed by his moral arguments when she was getting into the "let's kill them all" frame of mind. She seems to value his advice, especially in learning about Westeros politics and history and the fiery materials in the basements of the castle. I find the quick honesty of all parties agreeing about the evil past of all their fathers when negotiating for the alliance of ships to carry her army to be quite astonishing. No one seems to have any family illusions left at all. Reminds me of Egyptian history and the Ptolemy dynasty.
