Neither do I... but this is the same fanbase that was calling his number when Motley was in the game because they thought he'd be the next Tyrod. This year is going to be a helluva ride for that part of the fanbase if our QB play stumbles at all.

Man! I had two 300+ pound branches fall in my yard - good thing they missed everything but the grass. Friggin mess everywhere - and I was a lucky one!
I'm from Martinsville, where Carlisle is located and where Thon played at for a year. I watched him on multiple occasions and was not impressed. He is extremely small, and got bodied up constantly in the paint.
He does have one thing going for him and that is the shift to small ball in the NBA. He is able to stretch the floor and could possibly play the 3 spot. Regardless, he will be a bust.
I think people confuse his name with his attitude.

Honestly, I hope the kid sticks around, I don't expect him to be the guy this year but he's a great talent and could be the guy down the road. I just don't want him to see the fanbase trashing his character, let's rally around our hokies and wish the best for them moving forward and not tear them up too bad when they (kids/young adults) make mistakes.
Update: Actually just heard back today and their external media operations told me since it's Fuente's first year, the timing probably isn't the best for me to come in during the offseason. Maybe next year, fingers crossed.
