Naaaaaah c'mon that's like saying you can't get good bbq anywhere other than ______ (your favorite region/style of bbq).
With that said, I have had LEGENDARY fish tacos in Cali.
Hahaha I'm sure it is. I was doing my best "the thing that is there now isn't as good as the thing that was there before because nothing that changes is ever as good as the thing that got changed in the first place" bit.
Great commit.
He understands that you find the ball and then tackle the ball carrier. He gets off the blocks well with his hands.
Kid has a nose for it-great instincts and great coaching: on some plays he doesn't hesitate at the snap and makes a bee line.
I love these kids that know Virginia Tech is the home for them.
"I will never forget our first trip to Duke after joining the ACC. Seth got thrown out of the game, we were down by about 30 points, the officials were jobbing us in a manner I had never seen before, or since for that manner, and the foul count was absurdly one sided, yet there was K, whining about the few no calls..."
This, this, this! Hey coach K...

The big question is how much money do they have to pay a new coach? They still owe Hewitt close to 3 mil and now owe Gregory 1.4 mil. Big reason why people are surprised Gregory got fired this year
"Aren't you a little short for a Stormtrooper?"
Man, we are kicking booty this week! Up to 26th in recruiting rankings.
This kid knows how to get the ball rolling when starting a highlight clip!
Sooo, you expect TN to knock our quarterback out of the game? Or what? Just curious as to the basis for your prognostication.
That is with a bunch of seniors. The AD sees the minimal improvement over his entire coaching span and probably figured they were likely to take a step back next season. To the AD it probably seemed like a better idea to get a new coach than extend the old one.

This isn't the most scientific film breakdown, but he is excellent at making himself small and then shooting into the interior gaps. He then makes himself big and lays wood on ball carriers. He has tremendous change of direction. The only reason Ashby isn't rated higher is that at 5'11 215, he is very undersized for a typical inside linebacker. He is a very productive player who will find a way to contribute somewhere.
Would love to see some more talent come out of LC Bird.
2 three star linebackers in one week and this one an 804 kid from a power house high school!
247Sports reported it was Rayshard Ashby.
So likely an in state guy. Fuente and co. are on straight fire right now.

I've come to realize that this type of thing is just what Coack K does when his team loses a big game. He knows that the media will easily be fooled by misdirection, so he does something or complains about something that gets the media and public talking about those things instead of dissecting why his team and, more importantly, his players failed. He's basically taking the bullet for his players. Bitching about the security after the UVa game, despite all of the evidence showing them doing a good job is a classic example of this.
This is a move that they could end up regretting. They showed remarkable improvement this year and looked to me to be heading in the right direction.
It was in another TKP entry. There was a quote from one media person.
PJ has one of the best contract's in college football. I don't think they can afford to get rid of him anytime soon. PJ cashes in an extension seemingly after every good season and they realize they can't afford to fire him after every bad one.
Please put this on a sign when Dook comes to play in Cassell
*Looks at chart, see's "Va Tech", cringes and shakes head, closes article*
Made even more interesting considering PJ...
Currently have 43 registrations. I know that there are a few in my group who haven't signed up yet, so that will go up. The raffle items are picking up, with some autographs from coaches, and there is other cool swag.
Even if you don't ride, you can register to help out with the charity.

kid's got a nose for finding the ball. welcome to Hokie Nation, Rayshard Ashby!
