Yeah, its a shame JC's career here at Tech wasnt quite as what we, or even he Im sure hoped.

I've been comparing TLOP to Dre's Compton, another recent album that is highlighted by it's production first and foremost, and I don't think TLOP is nearly as complete or anywhere as good. I still think it's severely lacking lyrical content.
I remember years ago, before Eminem's Relapse was released, a rough version of 'Crack a Bottle' leaked. The beat was the same, but Eminem was doing part of Dre's verse, 50 cent was humming the chorus. It was clearly an incomplete demo, maybe used for artists, maybe producers, record execs, I don't know... The point being - this how TLOP feels to me: incomplete and unfinished.
Maybe as it continues to grow it will improve, but old Kanye would have never released an incomplete album. Nor would Dre, Eminem, Outkast, Jay-Z, Nas, Kendrick*, or any other artist who I really respect.
*NOTE: I realized Kendrick just dropped an unmastered 8 track EP - but it was leftover tracks that didn't make an album cut, and he announced it as such upon its release.
Kam is still putting in work.

Part of me likes the idea of this. Part of me also thinks that it's just Kanye listening to his fans but still finding a way to make it about him/his art.
My take:
1. If OK State offers him the job, it is unquestionably a better basketball job than VT, and likely always will be. They have tradition, T. Boone's money, and a conference that is winnable. VT is a good job, but that could be a great job, just under the top tier of Kansas, UNC, Duke, Kentucky, etc.
2. If Buzz wants to get his family closer to extended family, more power to him. I said the same thing about Grimes leaving the football staff - people forget that in the end this is his JOB. Who among us wouldn't leave their current job to get a better one, or get a better family situation?
3. If Buzz leaves, he undoubtedly leaves VT basketball in a much better place than where he found it.
4. Given Whit's track record so far, I am certain he has his list of candidates ready to go, and I am 100% certain that he will get the best coach he can find for VT.
In summary, if Buzz leaves, that sucks for us VT fans, but good for him if that's what he wants to do. Much like recruits and players, these guys don't owe us (the fans) ANYTHING. He's living up to the terms of his contract, and that's why contracts have buyouts.
Wait! Don't look into this beach house any further! What Kyle Bailey is trying to say here is not that there is a beach house for sale in Kansas, but rather that I saw it first and therefore have rights to it, via the law of finders keepers. Go find your own damn beach house!
One thing I love about Lane is how steep the stands are. It makes it so much more intimidating. Florida's and BYU's arenas definitely appear to have that working in their favor. Cassel's stands looks a little flatter. Could just be the angle at which the picture was taken though.
I probably know 50+ people, many Americans, that have traveled to North Korea and not been arrested. You get told the rules when you book travel, before you leave, when you arrive and literally reminded every day you are there.
It sucks. Totally disgusting. Also completely avoidable.

I've been strong in my belief in thinking there is no basketball related reason to leave, which is why I've always said we don't need to worry about it. Personal reason can change things, If he does go on because of family, you have to applaud him. Backs up what he preaches.

It's a pretty impressive building. They have curtains that come down to block out the upper bowl seating to make it more intimate. The best part is the hockey rink under the basketball court.
I do have a job...several actually. I work for Rhino (company that works Tech basketball and football games), but I haven't worked many basketball games this season unfortunately. I also referee soccer games, but we're between the winter and spring seasons at the moment so I'm not getting any money from that either. I have considered working for BT, but with how busy I am refereeing soccer that wouldn't be wise.
Didn't notice the title, but I agree, not all of these towns are 'Southern'. That being said, geographically, Palo Alto, Tempe and Tuscan are all further south than Annapolis.
Yeah, but I hope we'd at least expand the seating to 13k-15k. Bothers me that $ec schools like uga, usce & bamy have arenas with higher seating capacity than us.
I mean even if he isn't declaring for the draft he can throw the ball right? Like he wouldn't be on the list because he isn't trying to get drafted, but he would still be there throwing.
