happily voting for Boone, NC because it was matched against Charlottesville, VA

Ummm why isnt Brewer's name up there? What would he have to lose throwing the ol' pigskin around

What's the advantages/disadvantages of having the Pro day open to the media? I'm just trying to understand why Beamer never did it but Fuente is open to it.

So, anOSU has one of the largest capacity basketball arenas. I bet it's surprisingly quiet, too...

Princeton will not host a game in this NIT.

Hell yeah for both! I'm about to marry me an App State girl (the better Mountaineers), so I'd vote for Boone anyway!

Its North Korea. They don't give a shit what the rest of the world thinks. This country is led by a guy who punishes his friends for stepping out of line by placing them in a firing range and using them as a live moving target practice for mortar shells.

Rule #1: Don't go to North Korea
Rule #2: DON'T FUCKING GO TO NORTH KOREA
Rule #3: If you must go to North Korea, for the love of God, don't look in the wrong direction or step one inch out of line.

This is fantastic, thanks! A couple of thoughts:

- If I had to pick anywhere to play in these stadiums, I would probably pick Princeton. Looks like it has a good scale, fans are close, cool architecture.
- UGA's stadium looks like Cassell from the outside, doesn't look like it from the inside.
- Creighton's stadium is much bigger than expected, but I've heard it is the main draw in Omaha beside the CWS. For some reason, all their fans are wearing pink/red in this pick?
- GT's stadium, at least when it's empty, looks boring. It looks pretty good on TV. But from this pick, I would prefer NCSU or UVA's new stadiums.
- BYU @ 19K! That's a big stadium.
- I wonder if that is the same Houston stadium as they had when they were Final Four good in the early 80s (Olajuwon, Drexler days)? I seem to remember games in that stadium with that red wall.
- Cassell holds up in this quick study. Looks like a fun place to play, an average size. If only I wasn't so fat or the seats were bigger.....

UF's arena is actually under construction right now. All of their games will be away ones.

Living in Jacksonville, they broadcast UNF's games on the sports radio station here and the students sound hyped up EVERY GAME. According to the announcer, this continues all game. Regardless of situation, offense/defense, free throws, even media timeouts...
They may not be the brightest fans but at least they're consistent.

It was actually last night, and Florida won 97-68.

15 years of hard labor for stealing a poster is harsh punishment and an absolute disgusting move by North Korea, I don't care who you are or what school he went to - this kid needs to come home.

That kid has certainly lived enough nightmare already to cover whatever prank he might have done. They did barter his crime down from espionage to theft from the state, which probably saved his life, so at least that's good. Now the State Department will likely have to barter something to get him back at some point.

Sad for the student and his family and friends.

Big reminder to the rest of us of how important it is to maintain and limit government's power. We have so much freedom that we assume a lot about the nature of it. Sometimes we get so caught up in complaining about what we have a right to that we forget how good we've got it.

This is also something to remember when we're debating the balance between security and individual rights/privacy. There is a line there, and there's always a compelling reason being put forward to give up some of it. Once you give it up, you rarely get it back.

That place is going to be packed.

From what I can tell, it's probably because there is a concert tonight (Hunter Hayes) in the O'Connell Center.

At one point (and it still may hold this distinction), the Marriott Center was the largest single-bowl venue in college basketball. Before the renovations that reduced the capacity to 19,000, the place held 22,700.

I noticed on TV that Florida played AT North Florida.
