French, what are your thoughts on Jimmie Taylor? Early enrollee and he looks big (Wiles said he's up to 225 right now). Looks like he will be competing with the RS Fr from last year for the two deep.

jreynolds06 descends from the heavens to drop some sense in this thread.

Love having you here.

Jerod Evans is a leader for sure. Not interested in competing with his treammates, but wants to get everyone together. Impressive kid.
Josh Jackson- very impressive, well spoken.
Divine Diablo has a Magic Johnson smile, outgoing, well spoken kid.
Wiggins said Sam Denmark can fly. Denmark said he won So Car 100m last year.

No Hokie5284 has his own twitter account, and still has a deep, deep hatred for TKP (for no apparent reason.)

That uncertainty was still on their shoulders for the vast majority of this recruiting cycle. Expecting them to come from behind and overtake stable coaching staffs, that have been in these kids' ears since the beginning, in the final stretch was folly.

I've watched a couple school signing days that were, to put it politely, less than spectacular. Really glad to see VT is putting some money and glamor into the production. That kind of stuff matters more than you'd think

I cant seem to get through my work firewall to see the video.

Can someone politely give me a real time verbatim transcript of what people are saying. Id also like detailed description of what you are seeing, Id like your words to make me feel like Im watching it in real time?

I think a lot of people on here are confusing what is being said in here right now. I don't think I have seen anyone in here openly question Fuente or freak out over his abilities based on this class. I think a lot of people are concerned that we have a defensive staff that largely did not change, with the biggest weight on their shoulders recruiting-wise lifted (the uncertainty on Frank's future and as such their long term stability in jeopardy) and yet we're seeing a defensive class that is lagging behind what we're used to seeing in recent years.

I didn't expect a great class this year. I knew it was going to be a struggle to really turn things around with a coach who was just hired, but I didn't expect the defensive recruiting to fall off like this. Getting long term stability finalized should have been a boost to them on the recruiting trail, and yet it didn't pan out. I don't know how you can't be a bit concerned about the recruiting abilities of the guys who remained on staff after seeing this class play out.

The good thing is, offensively, things haven't looked this bright in a very long time for us. Hopefully we'll be able to score enough points going forward to mask some of the recruiting issues we're seeing defensively until we can get that phase of the process turned around as well.

Speaking of UVA, I just looked at their signees/commits on 247 and I don't think a single one held an offer from us.
Meanwhile, UVA offered Deablo, Kumah, Patterson, Taylor, Hopple, and Belmar.
They have the 59th ranked class. We're at 41.
I get that this is comparing ourselves to garbage. But it's always a cozy feeling seeing that we're doing better than them.

A clown that's been banned from TKP for doing a ton of clown things. No real need to give his childishness exposure on TKP. (Not meant to you, but for others embedding his dumbass tweets.)

I don't want to be rude but man there are some serious Debbie Downers here. I know we want top recruiting classes but look at all the good college coaches record for when they first arrived and their first year recruiting classes. Wins = attention, attention = big name players visiting, big name players visiting = commitments. Plus high recruiting classes don't always mean wins (ref Miami the last decade, they haven't even gone to an ACCCG yet). Calm down folks and lets see what the man and company can do come Spring Game/First Game of next season.
