The prophecy just said there would be a chosen one who brought balance to the Force. It never required a virgin birth.

If Anakin was conceived through the Force by some method Sidious had learned from Plageius, you could certainly argue Anakin was "chosen."

I drive a Ford Fusion hybrid, and at the time when I was looking at hybrids a few years ago, there weren't exactly a surplus of non-prius hybrid options out there (read: I wanted a car that looked better than a Prius). Even in the few years that have passed, the number of options on the market now has ballooned. Next time I look, I'll have the Accord, Camry, Fusion, Malibu, and Sonata to look at in that class with hybrid options, plus a few more in the luxury bracket if I look more used.

He got this one:

He said it was open box for like $40 and he bought it on a whim. I might recommend researching antennas a bit before committing to one, though. I need a directional antenna because all my towers are south of me, while a non-directional antenna might work better for you if your towers are all around you.

I was going to be in awe if it was a Tesla. That is my dream car. I think they are the only people that have gotten the electric car right. All others I would be embarrassed driving. But that's just me. Once I can afford a Tesla I will be joining you in the electric movement. Just give me a little time.

Nice! I'm somewhat intrigued / jealous. After I run my current Accord into the ground, i'll be looking into Hybrids (most likely a second-hand Prius). However, that might not be for several more years, so i'm hoping electric technology really takes off by then!

Not unless he shows something in the next couple years. His defense at Memphis was pretty underwhelming and seemed to take a major step back in his first year. I honestly think that's one move that could potentially torpedo Fuente's VT career. He can get a much better -more proven might be a better word - DC to come to VT than Scott and that's what he should do if Foster leaves.

With that said, if you're in the middle of an intense discussion, sending someone out to give the press an update may not be high on your list or even a thought that crosses your mind.

I can see that perspective, but Buzz has been a preacher of so many positive, intangible traits that these young men should possess. Being polite and courteous doesn't cost anything.

My thoughts exactly. I think Fuente is hedging his bets that Foster will be in for the long haul. I think it's a smart move by Fuente, but then it brings into question the futures of Torrian Gray and Charlie Wiles

The Roanoke Times has a few pricks that use their so called keyboard power to be just what they are. Bad Reporters. Bitter has joined their group , liked him until he stated his negative tweets and sniping on everything. Quit buying the paper years ago...just because what we see now...Thank You Buzz for being all VT First.

Good young hire , he will bring some new ideas and will be a key in recruiting. Bud Foster and his held over staff needs a new coach. IMO, Bud will be leaving sooner than later and he might be the next DC here at VT.

As I expressed above I really hoped the argument was all some clever ruse. It's a shame it went down like it did. If you go back through the history of Phreak posting the link to ESPN you will likely see me in everyone thanking the man. I owed him for his video links.

But it goes beyond that. I have been out of the States for a long time and in China for a long time, and for a VERY LONG time I was visually disconnected to VT football. I would follow game scores but was not overly engaged in the weekly or daily happenings in any way. I blame Joe for orignally drawing me back in with TKP. I had been a casual TSL reader for a while but TKP and it's ever expanding footprint of all thing Maroon & Orange got my attention back into the details of the program, but Phreak was my conduit to experiencing Hokies live again. And to be honest, a correlative effect on my posting history on TKP. When I finally had easy access to live games I became much more devoted to posting into this online community. Without him I was always somewhat disengaged.

Phreak... Eric, you took many, many hours of sleep from me over the years. I blame you for that. Sometimes I was dragging ass like I was hung over in the next day. Had to deal with my wife complaining about me staying up and being tired the next day. You have been the cause of so much misery for me. And I will owe you for the rest of my life because it's a misery I had wanted for so very long. Thanks brother. You brought this Hokie back to the fold. I have enjoyed VT at your pleasure for years. Respect.

I don't know the exact number but I think they allow something like up to five simultaneous streams on different devices at a time. Being in college, my parents let me use theirs and other friends of mine use a buddies or something. My friend buys one of his friends a twelve pack every couple months in exchange for the long in info. It works for him.

For college football I have watch ESPN. If the game is blacked out in my area, I use hotspot shield (a paid for subscription I share with a couple of people) to rerouted my IP address to a different state to fool watch ESPN into letting me watch the game. It works really well and it's not too unreasonable of a subscription when shared. Also the connection is excellent compared to some of the streaming websites. These is a trick that I used when I lived overseas to fool Netflix and other websites into thinking that I was trying to stream from in the US.

For nfl and other pro sports, my uncle will let me use dish anywhere. It works great, but I would never pay for it myself.
