To be fair, their backup center snapped a lot of balls low to the ground. Also, even though they knew it was an issue, the coaching staff never had Locke take the snap under center and their fans went bananas last night about that issue. Total meltdown.

Well said by Buzz - It's a harsh, yet accurate assessment of the team. I understand that his transparency could be seen as a lack of confidence, but he's just saying that the team still has a long way to go to become competitive.

I think we have the coaching to perhaps pull off a few upsets, but the team is still making too many mistakes that allow teams like Alabama State to be competitive with us. I'll think we're on the right track now.

I know it's slightly different and this probably isn't the place, but Darren McFadden (RB) of the Cowboys looks like he has sent two Redskin DBs to the locker room with head/neck/concussion injuries. One of the DBs was Kyshoen Jarrett.

Unfortunately Brown just went down with a knee injury. The entire Texans team showed theit respect for him by coming out the the cart.

Thanks for the reminder. I went the +5 route for one of the Hokie FB games on ESPNU and forgot I had done so. My only gripe about the Sling/WatchESPN experience is that I can never seem to start the stream via Roku until at or after kickoff. Otherwise, looks like it's the future to me.

Kylo Ren was shown to be bleeding in his duel with Finn and later with Rey. He also kept pounding his abdomen while fighting with Finn, and it sounded like he had some sort of body armor under his robes.

Cigarettes and Saints and The Bluest Things on Earth might be two of the best songs TWY have ever done. Both are soooooo good.

When I had DISH before they made nice with Disney, I could still access all ESPN3 games thanks to my internet package, but couldn't access any of the on-air channel streams on WatchESPN.

I just tried ESPN3 via incognito mode (basically, not signed into anything), and I can watch those broadcasts. As soon as I click to stream a program from ESPN, it asks for TV credentials.

Now, it is possible that some internet providers are starting to cut ESPN3 off, to encourage folks to get a cable package.

This quote concerns me.

Disagree - when an athlete (or any professional) is 'in the zone' the conscience mind stops thinking, and the body just does. This is the ultimate goal. It's the opposite of over thinking. This has been studied a lot. If you google 'In the zone sports psychology', you'll get a lot of super interesting hits.

If you don't know yourself, your capabilities and limitations, and how and why you're having a good or bad day, how will you improve?

Watch/study tape? Practice? I find, in any sport, that players make adjustments during a game, but make actual improvements during practice. Practice is for thinking. Games are for performing.

If Hudson could ever figure out the why of his good days, I feel he could turn the corner and become a more consistently good player. But it doesn't sound like he's even trying to figure that out.

To me, that's an issue with his practice habits.

LOL. i mean, from a fan POV, we retained some coaches, but i guess from Fuente's POV, he went out and hired some great new assistants from an ACC football program to add to what he considered the best of his current staff. I just would have thought we would be bringing in some fresh faces from varying backgrounds. i'm not disappointed, just surprised.
