I've never been able to figure this out for sure. Sometimes I get an ESPN3 game when I wasn't expecting to have access to it, including, occasionally, a VT game. I think it might have something to do with where you live/blackouts/etc., but I can't say for sure.

Kehoe gone from Miami? That's heartbreaking, he's been the man down there for as long as I've been alive, including his time as a student and player. Wish the best for him

When was the last time a P5 champion wasn't ranked in the top 25? I don't think that requirement is necessary in a proactive manner. Maybe if a P5 conference has a champion out of the polls two years in a row or something. I honestly don't see that happening though

No, it's a shame the students don't show up when they are in town.

What did Bitter and Berman say/do? I missed that part.

Agree with buzz's take on who & what comes first, but 1) the print version of his comments strike me as a bit defensive, and 2) he should always send out someone to notify the press if he's running late.

Not a huge deal either way imo

But this is intrinsically the problem. The snaps you give the backup with the 1's are snaps taken away from your starter. Unless your starter is elite and not developing much more with practice time, this is also counter-productive. Finding the right balance is key, but how many snaps do you take away? We have lots of QBs with potential and none are proven, #1 guys yet.

Today, our women's basketball team is opening up ACC play by taking on a very good Boston College team who went 11-1 through non conference play.

Halfway through the second quarter (Yes, women's college basketball uses quarters and not halves), they're up 25-17. Hoping they can hold on and capture that Top 25 ranking tomorrow!

So it is the practice time issue. Coaching staffs might want to take the 2015 season as a cautionary tale and maybe spend some more time with the backups. I definitely hope our new staff thinks about that issue and some work arounds.
