Overall I thought it was extremely well-written for a 17-year-old. Props to DeMatha for the kid's education as well as his football coaching.

Agree that Ford will likely stay all four years, but if there aren't many returning receivers in the country that are "much better" than he is. I believe that CBS Sports and NFL Draft Scout have him as the 4th best receiver in the 2018 class, which would equate to a first or second round pick.
He should probably stay all four years, but he is for sure one of the top receivers in the country and statistic wise the best receiver in the ACC.
Kevin Jones was a first round pick and ran for 1000 yards in like 10 games a rookie. His career was derailed by injuries, mostly a Lisfranc joint. If anything that's argument to go pro and get money before injuries.
You may be just a tad optimistic with that last bit.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – A clearer picture of the academic scandal at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's athletic program — in which the university allegedly failed to comply with several key operating principals — is emerging.
An e-mail was found by WFMY in which a TA wrote to the former associate director of the academic support program. The TA typed:
"I want to let you know that I passed all your football players. Most of them actually passed on their own. (name withheld) and (name withheld) were the only two that had averages below 60% but I gave them both a D."
The TA also wrote that two players had "suspiciously similar exams" and "may have also been passing a calculator back and forth during the exam, which is certainly not allowed."
But in order to bring himself back from the dead, he would have to know about Horcruxes, right? Which means Prof. Slughorn has to appear at some point.
I'll miss the Beamer days but am looking forward to the future.
