Well you can't get in.
The door to the classroom is locked.

Kentucky probably wouldn't do it because they play the Ville every year.

Vandy against us would be good as part of the ACC/SEC Rivalry Challenge every year.

That's correct. We essentially had two illegal blocks on returns, one against OSU and one against Purdue.

this is pretty cool. I would be interested to see a side-by-side of Memphis' stats in each category. I'm far too lazy to do that myself, though. Sorry not sorry.

Watching closely, it surprised me to see how much the linebackers dropped into underneath zones. One produced an INT by Adibi. If I get an audience with Bud in the offseason, question one will be focused on the role of LBs in pass coverage and second will be DL keys.

I'm curious, because this has long been a pet peeve of mine: How many of those special teams penalties were blocks in the back? It feels to me like we finally improved in that area this year. Do the stats back that up?

Could they make exceptions for alums/former players who went to BYU but aren't Mormons? Because with the limited options BYU has right now, it'd be fascinating to see Steve Sarkisian go back to BYU and get his second chance in Provo.

He was the QB at BYU in '96 when they went 13-1 back when Norm Chow was the OC. BYU needs a coach, Sark needs a job, he's a pro-style guy and part of the legacy of great BYU QBs...I think that'd be very interesting to watch.

But Sark is Catholic, so I guess he's excluded from consideration.

I wonder if something could be worked out with Vandy. SEC team, but more likely than not we beat them 9/10 times. Gives us a boost by playing an SEC team, but doesn't hurt us as badly if we lose to an SEC team. Also gives us in roads to Tennessee for recruiting.

Just a thought.

All these stats are stats that, I feel like, Sportscenter uses all the time. I swear they pick some of the most obscure stats to develop their narratives.
