I think the conference title game might have been pushed back a week as the Army/Navy game is reserved for this week.

Or I could be completely wrong. Wouldn't be the first time.

Now my comment is irrelevant.

Respect is earned. They've wiped the floor with us the last few times we've been on the field, so they've got bragging rights, like we have over the Hoos. But soon we'll be going En Fuente on them. They'll see.

Wish he would have added "Take me for instance. I am an average QB and Fuente helped make me RICH"

The praise for Fuente just keeps coming, which is awesome to see. I do think his hire in many ways has already changed how people view VT (both as a program and as a destination for coaches) and he has been here like 3 days, really quite a remarkable thing to see.

Honestly, and maybe I am the only one that feels this way, but it feels like our current 6-6 record is already a relic of a distant pass. Perhaps just the joy of watching Frank and the boys win on Saturday, coupled with how quicjly our awesome AD moved to make this happen.

So this young man gets a JUCO offer. I don't think Fuente would offer if the school wasn't OK with it. Why has that been virtually a no-go of late? University policy, Beamer didn't like the practice, nobody liked us??? I remember in the old days we used to pick up some good student athletes with that process. An example of that is Robert Brown, linebacker in the early 80's, who went on to play eight years with Green Bay.

On paper, Mullen sounds like the fit with Miami's fanbase and perception, but honestly it sounds like the administration wants to move away from the "U" image, Richt would be the perfect direction if they wanted to go that route. I think he has the clout for the fanbase that Golden didnt.

But, I dont know if I see him going that route, he just got fired going 10-3 and having to hear the Georgia fanbase calling for his head for the last 5 years I dont know why he would walk into the Miami one. I wish him the best....I just hope its not at Miami...Or UVA.

Reminds me a bit of Laurence Gibson, but with more lower body strength and quicker hands. Gibson had great feet going forward, but tended to get off balance in pass pro. I was a big Gibson guy.

UVA should grab Golden or Mack Brown, and Miami should go Schiano. Who even cares what Syracuse does, if we aren't talking basketball, they're just turf-eaters.

I guess you missed it, but LSU decided to retain Les Miles after all.

I don't think it's that inconceivable. Watching some Memphis game film, I thing there is a lot of reason to believe Fuente could accomplish a lot with the talent we have right now, which, no disrespect to Memphis, is better across the board.

The key will be whether that talent can pick up the scheme. If so, I'm going to predict that Travon McMillian is going to have a monster year.

I gotta say after watching this vid: Don't discount Motley as our starting QB for next year.

If he can pick up the new schemes, he has the arms & the legs to be very dangerous in this offense.

Also: Travon McMillian is a much better RB than what Fuente had to work with at Memphis.

I am very excited to see him in that O.

I'm the son of a son of a soldier, so I have to say GO ARMY, BEAT NAVY

Richt is a good guy. I wouldn't wish that dumpster fire on him.

I hope the U hires Coach Fondue and UVA rehires Al Groh.
