He knows that he is going to have to beat out Motley for the job. Those are some good odds I think, if he is going to throw in the towel for that competition, I don't think he would make a good QB anyways.

I said this exact same thing yesterday on some thread and people reacted like I had said we should think about hiring TimeCop as our new HC. I think it's an interesting thing to think about, especially since there's a guy with the last name Lawson projected to be the starter, who was recruited by Loeffler, and whom many have deemed the next Cam Newton. I don't think Loeffler is a good fit at OC, but I would keep him on staff somewhere in an instant if it meant keeping recruits happy.
I love how much swag his little daughter has to carry' so unmanageable.
Side note, "let's go Hokies" loses some affect when only a few are chanting it...

2.) I didn't say anyone was whining about anything.
3.)My point was simply let the man do his job and run the coaching staff. I don't see how anyone could possibly tell how these Memphis coaches will fit together and who should be here or there off of reading Wikipedia.
Lawson, Durkin, and Motely will all be learning a new system, so even Durkin will have a chance to start.
It has to be Lawson or Durkin (Most likely Lawson) who starts and learns the system for the next 3 years.
Motely is and always will be a fish out of water since he played in a WingT offense in high school.
Offense is broken...its why we are here to begin w......otgerwise frank coaches 30 th season,......................dump loffler and clean house.....Fuente offense is the reason he is here...let him put his guys in on offense side of things

But there is something to say for keeping someone around who still knows the high school coaches and power brokers in the state. A lot of those people have had working relationships with Beamer's staff for decades, Fuente needs to keep those relationships while building new productive relationships with others.
With Foster sticking around, I'm not sure we'll need to keep many more staff members for in-state recruiting.
Yeah its bizarre for sure. I edited my post above to include a link to a story with the athletic director at the Navarro JUCO he supposedly left UGA for..... Park never even showed up there. Strange....
Well both Motley and Lawson will be on equal footing as far as learning the system.

Yeah I checked the roster and he wasn't there. Weirdness.
Its just been debunked as false by the 247 guys. They spoke to Park's Father.
Also, he never transferred to that JUCO mentioned earlier in this thread. The AD at Navarro said that Park never showed up and he has no idea where he is.
"He is not here," Navarro athletic director Roark Montgomery said via email Saturday. "Not sure where he went."

And give credit to Whit.....he found a HC with experience beating LOLUVA......He was OC at TCU in 2009 when they beat the stuffing out of the London follies.
My thoughts on QB for next season:
Brewer is gone.
Motley is a Senior.
Lawson is a Sophomore.
Should we try to develop Lawson and use him as our QB1 for 3 seasons, or do we play 1 season with Motley as QB1 and then the next two with Lawson?
I would love to see Lawson be able to be QB1 for 3 seasons as I think it would help develop the offense for his later years.
his dad also had no idea he was leaving uga when that story broke earlier this year. so much bizarre with this kid...

Exactly. The defense can't go full speed ahead if they are on the field for 49 min. If you can't depend on the offense to at least drive the field and give the defense a rest then they get tired easily. Especially without sure backups at critical positions.
That report is now being called into question.
