I think Motley will start too. The wildcard is Fuente's presence and the potential impact on Lawson and/or Durkin. I still think Durkin had a chance to contribute this season and has the ability to be very good at the position.
For what it is worth, Nick Coe didn't impress me much on film.
I believe Durkin is now a TE. Thus completing our quixotic experiment of converting TEs into QBs (Logan Thomas) and QBs into TEs (Bucky Hodges and now Durkin).

Agree with everything. It is now Head Coach Justin Fuente show. Since it is his job to lose, he should be setup to succeed. I like Lefty as a QB coach, but it is not my call, nor should it be anyone's but HC Fuente.

Sitting here in Memphis watching the LAST Justin Fuente Show at UofM. Cannot wait for the press conference tomorrow. This guy's first class! Can we skip to next September.

My money's on the defensive side of things staying similar to what we ended the year with.
I really hope he does and they get lost in the wilderness like Tennessee did

I think this is probably why he went with Paxton Lynch his RS Freshman year instead of the previous year's starter at Memphis. They went 3-9 that year, but next two were 10-2 and 9-3 so it paid off in the long run.
Maybe you're a recent grad like I was when I joined the Hokie Club (c/o 2013). Money isn't just laying around when you have student loans (trust me I know) but seriously consider the recent grad program. 2 years of membership for the price of 1! Whit is doing big things here in Hokie Nation!

If everyone that said they would not donate until a coaching change was made was serious, then hokie club membership should at least double.

He knows that he is going to have to beat out Motley for the job. Those are some good odds I think, if he is going to throw in the towel for that competition, I don't think he would make a good QB anyways.

I said this exact same thing yesterday on some thread and people reacted like I had said we should think about hiring TimeCop as our new HC. I think it's an interesting thing to think about, especially since there's a guy with the last name Lawson projected to be the starter, who was recruited by Loeffler, and whom many have deemed the next Cam Newton. I don't think Loeffler is a good fit at OC, but I would keep him on staff somewhere in an instant if it meant keeping recruits happy.
I love how much swag his little daughter has to carry' so unmanageable.
Side note, "let's go Hokies" loses some affect when only a few are chanting it...
I'd love to get Ellis with this group.
