True but if they hire away a big name then the school who they hired a coach away from will be in the hunt for a new HC (in that example FSU). Either way another team will probably be looking for a new coach and more than likely it will be from another reputable program.
No, it doesn't. Unless there's some long term scenario where Bud is coach for 5-10 years and then Morris would easily take over after that.

Why? LSU boosters, the ones pushing to fire Miles and who will pay his buyout, don't want a rising star, they want an established star coach.

Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher is the main target for many foundation members. Other names tossed around include Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney, TCU head coach Gary Patterson and even former NFL coach Jon Gruden.

I agree completely but sadly I feel like this is the case more because of our recruiting failures more than those teams recruiting successes. Just imagine if we could recruit more in relationship with our football reputation. One can dream right? Sigh...
