After 1 week of football...

/s
Its a solid decision if basing it only on beer. But I will warn you that their food is amazingly mediocre and over priced.
Umm what!?!?? Lane Kiffin and Rich Rod? No way in HELL either, one of them should be anywhere on the radar to take over the HC job at VT.
1. Macro -- I want Lane Stadium to matter as a home-field again. We've lost that. An electric atmosphere won't happen this week with the rain and a 80% full stadium, but we need to get back to a home field winning streak.
2. QB -- Honestly, I don't know what I want to see. Do I want to see Motley tear it up, run for 115 and throw for 3TD's and 225? Sure, that would be great. Or do I want Lawson to get meaningful snaps and look great? Or do I want to see that Durkin can in fact pass a football and can also run over everyone? No idea what to hope for at QB. I hope the all play well but that we start to identify a plan.
3. Running game -- 250 yards. Aim high, running QB.
4. Turnovers -- Us, none. Them, a lot. Get after their QB, force bad passes, run them back until you hit the wall.
5. Mike LB -- I guess the most logical thing is for Motu to get better. I don't see a lot of options out there.
6. Health. Lots of it. On both sides.
...on a treadmill?
Mook, Edmunds, and Alexander - Future wardens of DBU.
Considering we were getting push last week, my wishlist can conceivably contain "putting up 200+ yards" with a single back (My thought is JCC)
If Rich Rod is anywhere near the VT program.

I don't want to burn Lawson's redshirt at all this year. We do have a great defense this year with (I believe) 9 starters returning and we have more experience on the O-line. Brewer is out 4-6 weeks which means he's back for the Pitt, NC State, or Miami game. I don't think Motley is horrible he came in to play the #1 team down a bunch and put together a score near the end. Burning Lawson's redshirt, to me, is a repeat of 2007 against LSU with Tyrod. I see that as a waste of an entire year to learn the system and I'm looking much further into the future. To me this season was shakey and with Furman, Purdue, and ECU as the 3 teams we play next I truly believe Motley can handle it until Brewer starts to heal up.
I would like to see a blocked punt or kick, a lot of TD's, and a W.
Doesn't the injury and redshirt at TT count?
Might be spending a night or 2 in Lexington after the NC State game in October. The restaurant will be on the list to stop by and check out!
I visited the Devils Backbone restaurant near Lexington last weekend and had their Smokehaus Lager. Its bacon beer. Yes, its as delicious as it sounds. Their HotShots IPA was pretty tasty too.
That was no "seemed" that you saw. McMillian was literally a shoestring away from walking to the house on the run you are referring to.
Yes please. More of this

1) Solid offensive showing. Not necessarily just numbers, but I want to watch our offense function with consistent effectiveness with a new QB.
2) Better reads from Motu
3) Defensive line getting back to business in the backfield. Not worried about this one, just want to see it for my viewing pleasure.
a pony. I want a dang pony
This clearly was not a hold and Terrell Edmunds clearly committed pass interference. I see no inconsistency here in the officiating.
A blowout
Motley, Durkin and McMillian. I'd like to see Motley have a good run as qb1. I really want a local kid to get the job done and done well. Durkin, from what I've read here is Logan-esque and that excites me. McMillian seemed to be one step away from breaking out a long run against aOSU. Shai is back, so maybe McMillian won't be getting the ball much. After all, this is just a wish list.
Addazio isn't leaving BC anytime soon.
Tier 1 --> Rich Rod, Kiffen
Tier 2--> Chad Morris, Tom Herman, Bob Stoops
Tier 3 --> PJ Fleck Mark Stoops
I want to see Shai return to form.

I'm sorry for the Paladin's, but we have to come out with a nasty attitude and go up 40 by the mid-3rd Qtr and show we can operate as a well oiled machine on both O and D. I know Frank will call off the dogs when we get up by that much. Then the 2nd and 3rd teams need to add another 10-14 to the difference.
To show VT Football is back to the National level we need to show solid execution starting this Saturday.
Then for Purdue and ECU we need to win handily as well (Read as by 3+ TDs).
