There were sprinkled through the stadium in various locations. But really only one or 2 per row at most. They certainly didn't have the 20,000 they were bragging they would.
my main concern with the throw was that it was off balance and back across his body from what I remember. the throw to Phillips is the easier throw and less dangerous.

I most want to leave the game with everyone definitively knowing who the QB1 is. Not just the coaches saying they're going to rally behind someone, but that somebody puts on a really good performance and leaves no room for doubt.

- AM shows improvement
- OL backs up what appeared to be a much improved performance against the Bucks and dominates the LOS.
What's your basis for the claim we had "no plan on how to play the next player... no plan if the quarterback goes down... then no plan for who is up next on quarterback as the new 2nd string"
Where's the proof they had no plan? Looks like a magnificent leap to an unsubstantiated conclusion.

I've never been all that passionate about who starts or gets PT over last week's starter, but in this one case I'm going to make an exception: I really want to see Nijman start at LT and see how he does there. Overall, I want to see dominance from the Tech OL after a solid showing against the Buckeyes.

I know it is heretical to even suggest it, but what about Foster with Paul Johnson as HC? Then, every possession is important.
Johnson is maybe the biggest ass in college football, but we could get him if we wanted him. He would alleviate a lot of our recruiting issues because he just isn't recruiting on the same value system. Nobody would want to play us. And we wouldn't have to play him!

the book is still out on Shaw. Losing your opening game when people are picking you for the playoff. Part of it, IMO, is that Hogan just stinks. He was a leftover recruit and looked great with Harbaugh/Luck's leftovers but when the focus is on Kevin Hogan, you're not having a good time.
But Shaw could just as easily get fired at Stanford. He's at a make/break year.

I cant hate what he said. He's right. No reason why a RS junior backup QB should look so inexperienced and have that deer in the headlights look in his face, even if its against the number 1 team. It boils down to recruiting (or the lack thereof) and coaching. Sure I think Sean would be immature to say something like that if he was a freshman (RS or not) or a true sophomore, but not a RS Junior, Recruiting at the QB position has gotten so much better, so I don't think we will run into this problem again in the future.

The point is he would have had 80 less yards if the blatant holding had been called. With the exception of that long play, he had 4 ypc. Which was still good for him.
RichRod isn't allowed back in the state of WV, much less Morgantown. If we get Richrod, there are two places you don't have to worry about ever losing him to: WVU and Michigan. WVU didn't take well to his leaving and Michigan was just a dumpster fire.
I'm not sure what happened at Michigan, but it was probably just a really bad personnel fit (nobody who could run his system) and cultural fit. He deserved it, but they turned on him quickly.

So far only Hokie Club members and season ticket holders have been able to reserve tickets. I believe VT still has an allotment that they will release to the general public, probably this fall. At least that is my understanding of how it is going to work.
The tickets at the speedway on Oct 2 are geared toward locals who want to attend the game.
