PLAY MAKING WIDE RECEIVERS... YES I AM YELLING :-)
Forgot about that- big issue I'm sure with his family. Know anyone raising kids in Baton Rouge? Yikes.... He'll need the extra $$ for private school, and his home security system. Know a native who just uprooted his family from BR for this very reason. Its gone WAY downhill since Katrina.
Why would Bud go to UGA where there is no guarantee Richt has that much longer? If Mark loses his job better believe they clean house.
From what I remember:
Wilson left after his Junior year to play Professional Baseball. I think for all intents and purposes after that season he was basically done with NC State. TOB spent the entire spring with a different QB and then Wilson decided to come back and try and play his final year and since the entire team had prepped with the new QB Wilson was told he'd have to jump in the QB competition so he transferred to Wisconsin.
I didn't even catch that! What, no legs?
He's going to to JMU.
I am so grateful for the 3 years at Tech. But I am excited for another great opportunity to be apart of the James Madison University family!— Vad Lee (@_VL2) January 13, 2014

I don't think I agree with this...
I am really liking the idea of guys like Fisher and Sheggog, with their size and speed, just blowing guys up from the FS and rover positions while Fuller and Facyson hound receivers on the edge. If we could just get big, fast, athletic LBs to match...
I think the reason most people think he will switch is because he made it known early on in his recruiting that he grew up an OSU fan. Growing up in Columbus, that's understandable. I don't think they're slighting our program, at least most of the people saying he'll switch. It's the same as someone growing up in SWVA and flipping to VT when they get a late offer, sometimes it's a no brainer.
BTW, I'm in no way saying he'll switch to OSU I have no clue. Just don't be shocked if it happens.
Actually, Parker averaged 7 yards a carry on the jet sweeps after Leal came in. The collision play was actually on a dive with the jet sweep motion. I loved the concept of the play, but man, there are a bunch of bad things that can happen when you have three guys on top of each other like that.
I will need to take a little time to tackle some of the bigger questions, but right now, if the Hokies are in a must make 3rd and 4, I run a route that isolates Byrn on a linebacker, and then I sneak Edmunds on a circle route in the vacated space. Edmunds was making some plays in the passing game towards the end of the year and should be utilized more if he is healthy.
It's a little different this time around. Tyrod Taylor was one hell of an athlete, regardless of his ability to play QB. Even though his pure throwing skills and ability to read a defense were extremely raw at that point, he was going to be able to make plays with his feet.
Neither Ford nor Durkin has that type of athleticism, and unless one of them comes into August with a much greater feel for the offense than Leal or Motley they're not going to get that chance.
I won three Heismans and three BCS titles with George Bell on one of the old NCAA games. Hell of a video game running back.
Leal has a MUCH better arm than JuJu. Arm strength isn't an issue with Leal.
If I was a gambling man, i would bet that Durkin is a lock for the shirt, mainly because he won't have the benefit of spring practice to get up to speed for the season. But, he did indicate that the reason he changed from Michigan State was the opportunity for early playing time, and Rivals has him ranked higher than Ford.
I think if Loeffler wants to play a Florida style offense, Durkin may end up being the guy. Ford looks more like a guy who is comfortable throwing a bunch and he is an outside running threat. I think it will be an exciting battle.
Great analysis as usual French! I am excited about Loeffler at OC and all the new offensive talent coming in. The O-line should be better and the defense should still be very good. If the Hokies can re establish their run game and get even decent play at quarterback they could surprise and improve the win total from this year. If we find our quarterback of the future next year and a couple of playmakers emerge at RB and WR, 2015 and beyond could be special.
That was Cory Holt, not Juju
Don't think your re-alignment would go over well in NC St. Why not trade NCSt for Wake? I'm sure Wake would rather be in FSU's division (got a recent history of success there), and NCSt would not be happy to be separated from UNC
I personally want them to bring back the 9 conference game schedule. GT, Clemson, FSU, and Wake (Vandy?) are just going to have to deal, one less schedule. Clemson, GT, and FSU have historically scheduled two FCS or really BAD FBS schools anyway.
Go to 9 conference games, eliminate the cross division rivals, realign the divisions, and rotate every year so that your players get a chance to play the others schools at least once!
Atlantic:
FSU
Clemson
Miami
Louisville
NC State
BC
Syracuse
Coastal:
VT
UVA
GT
UNC
Wake
Duke
Pitt
Counterpoint to pro-JuJu arguments:
Increase the rosters to 150 scholarships, add 30-40 more schools to Division I since revenue from all year round would make it possible. Fans dream but physically kids would never make it through.
Play college football all year round. Every team plays every team. FIXT!
That is my issue. I am not dropping $1,000 for a pair of tickets when I know that I am not going to be make all the games. Tuesday 2 pm games for example.
I don't mind supporting the program for basketball as well as football, but I am getting a much better value for my money at football.
Always nice to have more Hokies in Houston.

Sounds like he might want the whole thing
