So where do you rate Edmunds talent wise ? I'm just a fan, without real insight, but he never really impressed me this year. Where is he on the list of Hokie TBs? He was our best option this year, but will he be the best option next year or would one of these kids be a better option? Seems like if our O-line improved so much, he'd would have a better year. Not saying he'd have record breaking year, just better than it was.
French do you have any insight as to who the workhorse back will be? I assume Williams has the upper hand as he is healthy and coming in January, but from the film you've seen who looks to be the best overall running back?
With the line coaching we have, it will be so.
Are we sure he is not coming in the spring? I thought I heard he was trying to enter spring semester, but I may be wrong.
DW often makes the wrong cut and misses holes that develop. He still does it. He just has incredible speed and quickness that works against less than elite college players. Agree fundamentals have changed for the better. We still need backs that can follow the blocks.

Being a Hokie doesn't simply mean you attended the school. I know some people who are legitimate Hokie diehards who only attended for one year. I know others that attended throughout their degree but were always Wah!hoos at heart and still are. There's a spirit... some may same a school spirit... that attaches to you when you identify as Hokie that makes you proud to say you are one(as with all universities).
The only way someone IS a Hokie is by other Hokies recognizing them as such, which this fucktard will never be. At least by no Hokie I know.

That may be true Hokiefan4life but what do you know about running an organization? Hiring and firing people? Getting people motivated, knowing when to make changes and knowing when to stay the course. And, at what level did you play football? So playing football makes you and the other ding-a-lings experts? How much coaching have you done? Athletic Director?

Yes as we sit here now. I agree with you, but it's very possible that 1) Cline continues to improve as a blocker and 2) that Bucky is actually a good blocker and will be a TE (neither of those are known at this point).
My point is more that if you have 3 TEs that are 1) big, 2) can block, 3) are shifty and fast for their size, and 4) can catch you can do some serious damage out of that set. I could set a trio of Malleck, Cline, and Bucky being a great weapon assuming they can all do the assignments needed.

Maybe we didn't know until now how lucky we've been over the years with guys like Lee, Suggs, Imoh, RMFW, Evans, Wilson, etc etc.
Not necessarily. Stanford, Bama, Auburn, Clemson, etc. all focus on running the ball. The only difference now is how they do it, with a good number of teams spreading the field more and more.

Ford looks to have great leadership skills though, which will give him an edge over Durkin. Also Ford will be on campus very soon. Another edge over Durkin. The real question is: Can Brendan Motley or Mark Leal use their experience to put their mark on the offense?
Well pointed out detail on the footwork of this OL unit. Clearly Grimes is making headway. Consistency and fundamentals taught with clarity breeds excellence. Next year should be at least as good and most likely better - we just need some RBs!!!
