IMO, Bud Foster's a fixture at VT and has a great chance to be the next Head Coach in a few years . I believe he is a Hokie till he retires !

in that case ... can i borrow your Sam Rogers?

Realize it was BS drunk talk but still
wouldn't that be awesome- having KJ vouching for you!?

It must not have been from Sam Rogers. You still wouldn't be able to type!
(yes- BOTH hands would hurt)

I wouldn't want it to happen but would be happy for him. I hate ND though...

I know he is one the highest paid assistants in the country, but Notre Dame would pay way more than VT could with their NBC moneybags. Personally, I would find it hard to root for Bud because Notre Dame;s 'independent' status and arrogant inflated sense of football relevance. I'd be less disgusted if he became head coach of WVU.

The signed footballs I have are a few of the best gifts I've received and are on display on my FanCave. One football signed by Exum, Gayle and Logan that my sister gave me and another from my Mother-In-Law from last year's bowl game signed by Coach Flood and Khaseem Greene of Rutgers as well as Logan and Frank that she won in an auction down in Orlando. Also on display are a helmet, 1 panoramic from inside Lane Stadium, a handmade lunchpail, an MV shako, 2 pieces of Hokie Stone, and one painted print of Lane Stadium signed by all of our coaches from the 2012 season.

Dont see this as anything more than a power play by Saban.
"you couldnt make it as a HC at USC but here's a cookie take a look at my Offense"
also- wouldn't the OC be a little put out by all this?

Bud and Frank have a bond cant see the lateral move to be someone else's DC.
This type of 'chatter' is always good for the HOKIE nation, no matter how speculative.

GO HOKIES BEAT UCLA!

Happily, THE GUY isn't exactly going out on top. Yes, he's had a ton of success over the past decade or so, but the last few years have been a bit underwhelming by Texas standards. I'm not sure we'll see too many people saying "pass" if offered the Texas job.

If no big name takes the bait and jumps to Texas, you have to have a guy who can fill in. In coaching you never want to be the guy that follows THE GUY. I could see UT making a godfather type offer to any coach in the country; and even if you love your school and administration, you need to at least consider the cash considerations. Texas is going to want to make a splash, but I'm sure they have a plan.

the food used to be so bad that the escalator was there more
to keep students from changing their minds and turning around.

GO HOKIES Beat UCLA!

All the times I got to the top of D2 gasping for air (I was an out of shape college student leave me alone!) And now I come to find out there used to be an escalator. This is bs...

Knowles got better as the season progressed, and all the receivers got better in blocking for the run. Granted, he rarely lays out for the ball still. Perhaps a little off-season work from Moorehead.

It was called Dietrick up until the remodel in 2004. and yes - it had an escalator.

Rivals had him listed at 4.6 on the 40

Not to mention, the in-state rivals are either maintaining mediocrity or crashing and burning, which helps even more in recruiting. Not that FSU really needs a lot of help in recruiting.
