Don't know if it was here or on TSL but I read that Bucky played TE on the scout team offense when prepping for UNC to simulate their TE. Foster said he looked real good at that position. I think it will be better for him and the team in the long run. Also read that he was still a work in progress with his QB mechanics and all so with Ford and Durkin coming in it looks like a more logical move as well.

My only complaint would be that we are traveling a long way on this. Hopefully the game is followed by an off week or a sub-par opponent.
Purdue is actually closer to VT than both BC and Miami who we played on the road, back-to-back weeks this year. So I guess it could be worse.
Not to seem like a horrible fan, but it gives a way to cheer myself up after a bad loss. Except when your two teams go a combined 10-15 in the regular season.
Also, Dad is a VT grad, grew up in Atlanta, went to Auburn because VT offered 0 out of state scholarships while Auburn offered to pay all my tuition. Also have been told that Auburn's campus is basically VT's with red brick instead of Hokie Stone. Oh and no snow.
I have seen both Nnadi and Brown play and I think Nnadi is better. You heard Nnadi's name more often on tackles than Andrew Brown!
I'd rather have a home and home with an OOC school that's in an AQ conference than with a non-AQ conference school. I hate going to Conference USA schools.

Maybe it's reverse alphabetical order? Maybe, better yet, it's favorite to least favorite? We've known forever that VT and Pitt are his favorites, I didn't even recall GT being in the mix.
I'm going to be in the Richmond Coliseum Saturday to see the VT vs VCU game. I follow both teams fairly closely and watch both of these teams when they're on TV. Like OP said, the key in this game in turnovers; VCU's biggest strength and unfortunately what appears to be VT's greatest flaw, so it'll be interesting to see if Tech can take care of the ball. I think if Emelogu, Eddie and Smith can continue to shoot well, VT has a legitimate chance to pull off the "upset".

we all saw how that went with Marcus Davis. Guy was huge had all the things to be special and was mediocre at best, granted it was his work ethic that killed him. I don't think a big WR is the type Loeffler wants, look at how well Wes Welker 2.0 is doing and then add in JS5 for the deep routes where does a tall WR fit in.. Maybe an H back like Coles? If so then why move him to WR.

I realize that Texas is (arguably) the best college in America to coach football but the search for a new coach is getting a little ridiculous. Jimbo Fisher isn't going to leave FSU (but he'll use Texas' interest to get a raise from the Seminoles).
I'm watching ESPN right now and they're saying Jon Gruden is their top target. There's no way in hell he's leaving ESPN to coach Texas. What's next, "Texas has a strong interest in Bill Belichick?"
