It appears you've added one year to everyone's last season? Jonathan Lewis was a senior in '05. DT on the '06-07 teams were Carlton Powell and Barry Booker. I'd agree that Lewis and Hopkins were the best DTs in the decade. Worilds entered the draft after the '09 season.
DJ has been a stud all season but I agree, not a great game on Saturday. Dropped a TD pass and there was also a long catch-and-run by Dimitri where DJ could have sprung him for a TD and didnt get the block:

DJ is a stud, hope he bounces back in the bowl game
5-Star abilities there

"ORANGE CRUSH, ALL THE WAY!"

That was a needless penalty, Coles

Just... Just out of curiosity, wouldn't we have been the Gobblers back then?
I imagine back then it was like one coach call s the other coach and says wanna play int the whatever bowl?
if they agreed they would play. Almost like a pickup game for college football.
Plus one for Fuck Miami!
Awkward. Don't think I'm gonna go that far with it.
The craziest thing about the 1947 Sun Bowl was VT's record; that Hokie squad finished the regular season with a record of 3-3-3. Cincinnati, on the other hand, had a record of 8-2.
How the heck did the Hokies make this bowl game?
Err, Wilson 30 TO's on the season vs. 50 Assists. He's made some really phenomenal passes.
I've seen every game and he really has no scoring mentality at all. When he decides to be aggressive on O, he gets it done due to his length and athletic ability. He abused a good WVU backcourt when he put on his O face :-)
Plus 1 for Marcus Vick - I have an autographed picture of him hanging in my basement.
Should've put half-n-half sarcastica.
The Big Bang was Sam Rogers high-fiving God when it was done.
My list.

Sam Rogers and God sat there at the table. A single tear rolled down God's cheek. He was scared of the figure that now sat across from him. Whatever he said, he was going to do it.
And then the great decree came from Sam Rogers, "Do it you bitch."
And thus the universe came to be.
I just wish he would have caught the passes thrown to him...had at least 3 drops.
I'm a bit of a musician myself, although he's much more talented than I am. I played sax in school, and taught myself guitar/ukulele/piano, and enough mandolin to learn my hands are too big for the neck. I really enjoyed the song, especially since it didn't sound like a cookie cutter song (i.e. basic chords, straightforward rhythm, simple bass line). My favorite part musically was the little harmonic riff he added twice. A small suggestion would be to end the solo during the chorus. As a guitar player, I am super impressed that he can sing and play a solo riff at the same time, but it sounds a bit muddy with the vocals over it. Its difficult to distinguish the notes. Love the funk though.
1998 Music City Bowl was fantastic. The little brother had just come about, so the whole family went to Nashville (the parents needed babysitters for the kid while we went to the game).
We had a blast. I was just a kid, but I remember a lot about that trip.
I also remember Tech walloping Bama in the snow and rain. It was a good time. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1998_Music_City_Bowl
So I agree. I would love to have a reason to go back to Nashville.
It's so beautiful.
God created the universe because Sam Rogers dared him to.
Oh no this can only be starting a whole 'Sam' thing so I'll cut right to the chase...
Before GOD said let there be light ... you get the picture... ~8)
1772: Sam Rogers puts together his plan for VT football greatness to begin with the founding of VT 100 years later.
I just want it closer! Oh well, at least we're in a bowl.
But sending Miami to a bowl in state for ticket sales... Hahaha I guess the smoke blocks their vision of the seats, no one goes....
Nope. He'd give you an answer. Not necessarily one that answers the specific question you just asked, but he would give you an answer to a question.
Is it horrible that this is how I picture the UVA coaching staff in their final film study of the season?

By far the hardest loss to stomach. I hope this program gets some revenge on them down the line.
