Well hey, NASA just proved a warp drive might actually be possible, so you never know.

Why would Ogeron take a job as recruiting coordinator after the success (for lack of a better term) that he had at USC? He would at least deserve an OC/DC job, something we cannot offer.

He "took all the flak from fans in stride" because he had a mllion dollar annual salary on an annually renewing 5-year contract, and his job security had absolutely nothing to do with the performance of the unit he was coordinating. He was in a situation that was completely unique in college football, and unthinkable in any other top-25 caliber program in the country.

He is by all accounts a really great guy, but maybe let's not get too heavy-handed with how hard it was to take all that alleged abuse by our meanie-head fans.

I get what you're saying and all, but with the way info is exchanged and revealed (and has been over the past decade) I have a strong feeling that someone would've found out about it and we'd have long heard about before now. Just saying.

It's all a scam to hope that next year Duke continues to ride on their magical trip.. Sadly FSU will put up 60+ on that ALL-ACC D and these people will look like fools.

This is nothing new.. has anyone followed the ACC POTW, they have been the biggest joke ever. It's like the ACC conference like to F up the bass way to much. We look like idiots.. How many SEC 1st team players do you think Florida will get... or even Kentucky... NONE and its for a reason.

ACC trolls and always will troll...

They are reporters gentlemen. Look at the newspaper industry. Its an industry without a business model. The standard of writing, sports analysis, and general sports aptitude barely exists because of the cutbacks. Feel bad for those guys. Having a day job that means you need a night job. You get the dregs because you're paying for a product that used to be paid for with useless advertising dollars that are now going equally uselessly to google.

Watched Stephen A Smith the other day and he got me so confused I think I had a stroke. This is a guy who gets tons of airtime. Literally it was like all the colors and lights flashing and my mind just all got connected together at once, but Stephen A Smith was using mumbo jumbo words. I personally think he is some kind of DARPA experiment in mass brainwashing. You listen to him enough your brain becomes so plastic it will accept any kind of rewiring, no matter how nonsensical.

I know our RB was out and it probably didn't make sense from a risk reward perspective.

So you know exactly why they went conservative and you're still asking why? I'm confused.
Beamer did exactly what he needed to do to win. Having Logan drop back and chuck it deep to Knowles a few more times (and probably getting LT3 hurt in the process) wouldn't help us win that game. Sitting on the ball and watching Lambert flail against our defense won that game. This isn't a team built for style points, especially not when our best runner goes down. Be happy with the win. They're harder to come by than you'd think. Ask UVA.

Yeah, I've seen this before. However, you don't know that he didn't go to Beamer and say exactly that. Don't forget there was huge pressure to get Stiney out of there for many years. By all accounts he's a stand up guy and would do anything for Beamer and VT. I can see him going to Beamer and saying "I might not be the right fit for VT here Frank" and Frank being CFB saying "We are winning ten games a year and going to Bowl Games, why would I make a change? You stick in there and get the job done." Just because all their conversations weren't made public knowledge doesn't mean it didn't happen. And by no means am I a Stiney OC apologist or even forgive the position he put us in, but I can see that conversation happening.

Even if it's not true, the mere fact that it sounds like it legitimately could be true says a lot about UVA football.
