He looks faster in person, but lord he is tiny. when I saw him play (2nd game of the season) he looked like he was 5'10 and 140. He also didn't play a single snap on defense, so I would imagine he will end up on offense in some capacity. But, he is about as good a runner at the QB position that I have seen in a long time.
How in the hell did Kendall Fuller didn't make the 1st team is beyond me, one hell of a season kid.
Recruiting rankings are heavily influenced by offers. If a player doesn't have a ton of big name offers, he won't be a five star athlete almost regardless of merit.
Unless I'm mistaken, Ford didn't disclose to recruiting sites who all gave him offers. They can't tell how many school want him if he doesn't say how many offered.

He is the antithesis of what I want on this coaching staff. He is a bag man, a recruiting closer, and an unethical one by all accounts. Don't let him near the program.
Yeah seriously. Have the people advocating Orgeron ever read about him? Do a little research... wild boyz Coach O was on Kiffin's staff for a reason. I'll pass on having a gorilla mascot on our staff though.
One possibility would be Richmond head coach Danny Rocco, he played his last two seasons at Wake under Al Groh (transfered from Penn State). His first coaching experience was at Wake as a GA and then DL coach under Groh. He has other ACC coaching stints at BC, Maryland, and UVA (again under Groh). He also had stints as an assistant at Colorodo, Tulsa, Texas, and a season in the NFL with the Jets.
My second year as a student at Liberty, he took a team that I had watched go 1-10 the previous year to a 6-5 record and the next year went 8-3 and won the schools' first Big South Conference Title. When Time Cop got the UVA job, he moved to Richmond. In his 8 years as a head coach at the FCS level he has won 4 Big South Titles and 1 Colonial Title.
The only reason I can see that he wouldn't want the Wake job is that his nephew, Michael Rocco (of LOLUVA infamy) will be eligible to play for him in 2014 after sitting out this season.
Excellent video, thanks for putting this together. It's been a great decade. Two things stood out to me:
- surprisingly, not a lot of defense or ST scoring against the hoos... Pretty much all our points are on offense
- I really miss Ryan Williams
Then let him recruit the hell out of the Left Coast for us....its not like they aren't recruiting here. Stanford has gotten at least two or three top end talents from here in VA the last couple years as have others.
(Not that I realistically see any chance of him being on our staff next year)

Logan has only ever caught a pass from Tyrod. Some high praise for Rodgers to be the next guy.
LSU took care of him, I think our defense could as well, given the time to prepare. Besides, many (including myself) feel that aTm is a natural rivalry for the Hokies.

Potential last college game of Jonny Football and new years in ATL? That could be a strong draw regardless of opponent. Could see the hype of Miami as filler for that, or if they really want a draw and a better game by a team that beat Miami by double-digits; VT would be stronger draw than Duke.
I see it happening a little differently.
Denver's FO is meeting to discuss roster moves, draft plans and general offseason strategy. They're fairly happy with their roster and they aren't planning any major moves, just some tinkering around the edges with young project players. John Fox's phone rings and it's Manning. He answers by the second ring, because he knows Peyton will hang up if it goes to three.
He answers, "Hey Peyton, wha--"
An abrupt voice on the other end interrupts with two words, "Get Welker."

Fox turns to the rest of the staff and tells them, "I guess we're grabbing Wes Welker."
A few miles away Peyton Manning sets the phone down and turns his attention back to the wall of monitors playing game film Ozymandius-style, a joyless smirk adorning his face. A keen ear would be able to hear him softly muttering under his breath, "Omaha... 54's the mike... kill kill kill."
