Bud Foster needs a hug! Can you imagine the dreams he has had about how many NC's he could have won as the DC elsewhere!

Hmmm, I have the woodstove going. I hadn't thought about it, but I might join you in that.
I agree. After spending the bye week watching clips of previous running backs running through defenders (Darren Evans truck stick, Ryan Williams dragging defenders into the end zone), I'm so tired of seeing our running backs go down at the first sight of contact every time.
Mine will never be worn on game day again. It's now to be worn only during yard or car work.
Again, I respectfully disagree. I think we should have won that game. I think the team should realize that, and realize that they threw away that chance. I hope that they take that knowledge, and light a fire themselves to come out and crush BC like they haven't crushed a team all year.
Personally, I think the best teams ALWAYS think they will win. They never believe that someone can outplay them, and they're upset when they lose. I'd rather see a team accept their own mistakes as the reason for failure, rather than say that they were outplayed.
Own up to your faults, then work to improve them. The better team did lose today.
Downvote? Was this cause of the original post or this comment?
I think that's one of the most frustrating this about LT he seems to take the ball in those read option plays when he shouldn't. I've seen no one even look at the running back everyone keys in on LT during those plays. I think its not helping our offense. Most of our runs are draws and sweeps from the shotgun and I think that it helps throw the defense off sometimes, but its done too often to be used as a weapon. When our offense lines up in I-form we get zero push what so ever and there's no holes opening. I know that's not all of Grimes fault, but I'm hoping that something changes next year.
I remember when I felt like this back in 2001 when Grant Noel went 4-16-4-81 against Miami. Yes, as many interceptions as completions.
As extremely frustrated as I am with Logan's interceptions, look at his numbers tonight:
21-38-4-214 + 101 yards rushing.
It is amazing what an interception (or 4) can do; literally take away 7 or 3 points each time. We only punted 3 times in this game, dominated the stats, and still only scored 10 points. So frustrating. If our defense wasn't just plain amazing, can you imagine what our record would be?
Worst game ever for Logan; 70% on him and all his bad decisions. Hardly ever looked deep to keep the defense honest, so they jumped all the underneath stuff. Inexcusable for him to play this bad coming out of bye week mid-season.
The other 30% was the special teams, which was outplayed by Dook. 1-3 on makeable field goals, while Dook was 2-2 on unmakable ones. I knew the poor kicking game would catch up to them. Beamer got out-Beamered today.
Hell, Minnesota hadn't beaten Nebraska in 60 years and that happened today.
During my walk back I had seriously considered taking off my orange shirt when I got home and burning it. Still am considering it.
Amen. Still sucks to give Duke their first win over a ranked team in 40 years.
Uniforms...

Agree. Unacceptable and changes need to be made on offense. If our first stringers can't do it, let's move down the line. Next man up.
My biggest concern now is the inability for our new OC to adjust on the fly. Yes Logan did not help and quite frankly should have had another half dozen picks but why can we see the power run game was working and the coaches can't?
I'm not even sad.
The orange uniforms, however, have to go. Forever. Burn them. Never wear orange again.
Go Hokies.
Didn't down vote, but there are many soccer fans on her fyi
I know I'm still looking forward to "Foe"rensics this week, as always.
I think it's the way we lost this one. 24-21 wouldn't have hurt as badly. I mean come on how are we going to let a team win only scoring 13?
chill yes our offensive self evaluation clearly didn't work and frankly as far as coaching goes little beamer has not impressed, however we still do have 6 wins and one of the top teams and the country and still an open window to the conference championship (sad I know) however should we get there who knows what happens, one upset and we're in a BCS bowl
Ok. People need to calm down. Logan was terrible today, but when you're 6-2 with a huge game against Miami coming up you don't bench your quarterback. He had 3 really good games before this and then a bad one today. Everyone needs to calm down. Am I pissed off? Absolutely. But you're stuck in the moment. In 4 days when this feeling of disgust is gone you'll have a completely different tune.

Duke played their worse football of the year...and beat us at home.
Think about that

In other news, Mizzou is punching USCe in the throat and making them pay with turnovers and explosive plays. UCLA and Oregon are currently tied at 14 just before the half.
