I know it is the respectful thing to say, I really do. Sorry if I sounded rash, just a little butt-hurt over here. But for once I would love to hear Beamer say what we did wrong without sounding like a broken record and saying that we have to give credit to the opposing team.
How do you know that anyone else can't be a leader? No other QB has played this year or been given the chance. I also didn't see our team go to pieces. I saw some bad decisions. When you exchange a big play(possible TD) for an int, you lose.

It just never ends...4 INT's, two of which were of the completely inexcusable, "what-the-fuck did I just see?" variety. The other two interceptions may have been off deflections, but they were balls thrown into heavy traffic that should never have left his hand.
So yeah, he had 300 yards. He also threw it nearly 40 times, and ran it another 24. 5.6 YPA.
I just can't fathom how any rational person watched that game and honestly thought to themselves that Leal would have worsened our chances.

Like it or not LT3 is the closest thing to a winning leader we have this year. No one else on our offense is remotely close to being the playmaker Logan's been. Winning teams don't fall to pieces when there QB isn't carrying the team.

I may get some downvotes for this, and my intention here is not to be snarky (because I fully agree with you), but any time someone said "focus on Duke," the response was, "we're fans, let us have fun" and continue on like it was a win. This was a reality check for a lot of people.

Also, I will never say that it is time for Beamer to go. He has done way to much, but as Hokiegirl said, I am so tired of hearing his coach-speak. Say the team played like shit. Say the coaching staff did not give the team the best chances to win the game. Light a fire under some asses Frank!

In the end, we are the team we though we were before the 6 game run.
