Totally off topic, but I just got re-hooked on Metalocalypse. So I just have to say

Stop copies me!

and

If the running game can't get going, we're not going to abandon it, we'll just go over THAT MOUNTAIN!

and

mmmm ahhhh la la la la la

Offense: Logan Thomas for sure. He's been the center piece of the offense and has sown vast improvement each week (maybe not for Pitt). Honorable mention, Willie Byrn. Logan trusts him and he plays with a lot of thoughness.

Defense: Derrick Hopkins or JR Collins, I can't pick one. I also can't pick just one guy from the secondary, but those guys have been absolutely fantastic.

Special Teams: Hughes for sure.

I love hearing about this, but let's not get too caught up in this.

I live in State College, PA. I can tell you first-hand that the most self-righteous fans on the planet are (were) Penn State fans. Every kid that comes through this program has better character, higher morals, strives to win a Nobel Prize, and generally is made of gold. Every fan stands up for the right things, appreciates rainbows and sunshine, and never does anything wrong. No NCAA infractions, no docked scholarships, no probation, no criminals, no bad seeds, never sacrifices quality people for wins. And it's all because of Saint Joe Paterno.

Please don't let us become that program.

Whoot - if the Hokie Bird starred in an action movie the title would be....wait for it...."Blacksburg Nights, the Legend of Hokie Pokie" #capitalOneHokie

I don't care about the turkey legs, but I do care about the discourse. It's unnecessary to start a forum topic, then immediately follow up with a comment when the comment itself could be include in the original thread. Also multiple comments right after one another need to stop happening. Take a deep breath, collect your thoughts, make them count, then click the post button.

The turkey legs weren't meant to be a competition of who could get to a billion first, they're a karma rep system for quality posts. Part of that is my fault because the system automatically awards turkey legs for posting comments and starting forum topics. It seems like I need to tighten up the system a little bit.

I would put the SEC East as a whole there - 3 top-10 preseason teams, and of which only one is even ranked by the first BCS standings (South Carolina), and that team is #21.

2001 was great in the stands. Ernest Wilford's catch was the best feeling of my life, followed immediately by the worst. 2011 was probably my favorite, that was a back and forth match that went all the way to the wire and gave us the best Enter Sandman of all time.

The 2005 game was what convinced me that mid-game Sandman was bad luck. Down a couple scores, the crowd finally got into it after Sandman, and Marcus promptly fumbled. Then, when they played it during the '10 GT game for DW4's kickoff return TD, everyone started going nuts and I was standing there screaming, "NOOOO! WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS?" None of the people around me got it, they were too young. Of course, it worked out fine, but I was panicked for a few moments there.

I am glad to say that I have witnessed many happy Miami memories in Lane - '03, '09, and '11 being some of the best games I have ever experienced.

Texas Tech has the highest proportion of stunners in that group. Whoa, nellie!

I thought so, too. I wonder if they'll make them in blinders

Kind of disappointed this thread wasn't about TKP branded sunglasses, like I thought it would be before clicking in...

I agree.

Actually, my hatred of the boo-hoo's is just as great as my love for Virginia tech. So I can talk about both all day equally.

2001 is the only time I've gotten to a Miami game in Lane (Ernest %^&*ing Wilford). One of the best games I've ever seen even though we lost. Also, MV7 stays for that year and we'd have won that game by at least 10.
