I think he's talking about the potential "targeting/defenseless receiver" hit. But who doesn't like seeing Jacory getting smacked around?
Clearly you weren't around for the Nick Schmitt years
I'm with you on that feeling. Its almost as if by losing Kyle and Facyson, Exum's daycare will run both corner positions and be on both sides of the field at the same time!
Oh this hit????

Yeah, that stayed as my desktop wallpaper for at least a year!
Good for him. We haven't had a great punter since Surf Boy Bowden was here. That kid could boom punts like nobody else. Of course, there was Danny Coale who bailed us out, and why Beamer didn't insert him when Coale volunteered to handle the punting duty still has me shaking my head.
I lived in East AJ freshman year, too, but all of my classes were across campus. I lost like 15 or so pounds just from hiking to Derring and McBryde for class.
2011 is the highest for me. From the ballsy decision to run a Logan Thomas keeper to me being on my knees in gratitiude when Alonzo Tweedy stopped Lamar Miller to seal the win. It took me all evening and a few beers to bring my nerves down.
2012 is the most painful I have ever watched...the Hokies just faceplanted and some in that game, never have I seen them look so out of sort, but that Logan Run for 73-yard was awesome.
I also remember that pure domination in the rain from the start to finish. What was so epic about that beatdown was Bud Foster posting on every defensive players' lockers, "You have a responsibility to continue the tradition" after citing some statistics. Let's just say the players were Bud Foster angry. (I can't say Sam Rogers angry, because nobody would survive that).
Plastic sandwich bags, people. I personally believe they were put on this Earth for precisely these occasions.
I would be interested to see what the graduation rates are if you discount players who leave early to play at the professional level. They might just think it's not worth the effort.
Eh, it's been a long bye week. There's only so much talking you can do about guys healing up and hoping to see the running game improve and Logan continue to be sharp. On the other hand, the Hoos continue to disappoint every single week!
Dorian Porch's hit at 2:55 would've gotten him ejected in today's game and that's some bullshit.
Another new topic on UVA

I get that they suck, but we're having a great season here with the potential to do great things. I'd rather be discussing that.
It also might be right to say that neither are Sam Rogers
I have a good feeling Exum will exceed expectations.
Or someone with much too high expectations for UVA and a slightly less-cheating UNC.
Man, Blue Collar - we post the same thing at the same time and think the same way.
Happy 800! And thank you for your service!! :)
Same here - he played so poorly it seemed he got paid to throw the game away. It's like the orange sleeve was his poison.
I took my little brother to this game (GMU alum). We tailgated in the rain, got drunk, lost his ticket, scalped a replacement and ruined his phone in the rain. Halfway through the second quarter, I asked him how he was enjoying it and he said, "This is the greatest sporting event I have ever been to."
there were rumblings back then that marcus threw that game.
i've always blamed the sleeves.
Graduated and commissioned in the Navy in '02. I'm flying the new MH-60R out of HSM-46, on deployment right now actually. I was in VT-27 myself, still the T-34C when i was there. Then TH-57s at HT-8. I flew the SH-60B until a year ago when i got transitioned over to the newest helo we've got. Good luck in flight school!
Ugh, I was at '05 in the NEZ... watched Marcus fumble the game away right in front of me.
am it the only one who read it as 'bid-ett' at first?
I thought it was kinda funny that UVA had 74% compared VT's 78%, considering they blame their lack of success on their academic rigor.
FSU though, 58%? Whew.
