haha... ok, so how do I say "Only my own" subtly? jk... Here is the only reasoning you need:

'nuff said

I am also conflicted, and agree that FSU is likely the winner. But in the end, I want 1 more chance at Boyd to shut him down and finally get that monkey off our backs. I won't be actually rooting for them but I hope we get that chance at Clemson again.

Half-baked cookie cake. Hot, crusty outside, still doughy, nearly raw on the inside. Delicious.

Have to ask, is the icing homemade (or a good bakery)? Because, well-made frosting makes ALL THE DIFFERENCE. So many bakeries, especially grocery stores, have the worst crisco icing. Fondant icing is crap as well. Royal icing isn't great either. And most weddings, terrible icing.

Good icings:
Cream cheese icing
Buttercream icing
Whipped Cream icing
Fudge icing
Chocolate Ganache
Whatever that icing is for German Chocolate cake

Carrot Cake is Best
Homemade Cream Cheese Frosting, Yum
Pies are yummy too

I'm just glad I got some Pillsbury Halloween Funfetti Cake to munch on after reading all these Cake vs Pie arguments.... Go Team Cake

Ah the humor/horrors of the dreaded bye week.

Cream cheese icing just ruins it for me, I think its gross. Got to have vanilla icing for the red velvet cake.

What I really want is for FSU to beat UF and Clemson to beat USC. I just want the Hokies to rock one of their dreams in the ACCCG. Doesn't matter who, but I'm hoping they're undefeated.

Zach, great write up. Extremely well done and an amazing effort.

According to your profile, it says you were Logan's back-up in high school. Is this true? If true, did all the "casual fans" of Brookeville HS call for you to replace Logan as starter?

we were 13-19 last year with Erick Green so that doesn't instill confidence in me for a .500 record this year. I agree though that depth will help. I expect JJ to take a page out of Shaka Smart's book and try to run up an tempo offense and a good amount of full court press. It's really his only option to be able to compete this year. He just doesn't have the talent or experience otherwise

I think beating an undefeated FSU in the ACCCG would do wonders for the football program. Especially because FSU would absolutely be in the national title conversation.

I'm rooting for FSU to win out, until they play Tech.

This season will come down to how well we defend. The offense is going to be ugly. Poor point guard play will probably be the demise of this team on offense. But on defense, this team has a chance to be good. This year we're far deeper, more athletic, and much less focused on offensive production than we were last year. There's no reason why the Hokies can't be a strong defensive team this year. If JJ can get consistently solid performances out of his defense, we can compete in the ACC day-in and day-out. A solid goal for this team should be a .500 record- if we achieve that, this program is headed down the right track. If JJ can't get his team to play good, hard defense, he may not be around much longer.

Hmm..David should had stuck around to learn a few more about being a RB. He relies far to much on his speed and athletic ability.

I would rather play FSU in the ACCCG, and also would rather unbeaten Miami beat an unbeaten FSU so that we can therefore defeat the aforementioned unbeaten Miami team. Preferably.
