What is this "may know" that you speak of?
I can bring food/beer, a few chairs, and possibly a cooler. I don't know the tailgate/gameday parking rules but I'm assuming you need parking permits for most lots? I can't help with that, but I could also be available to come early and snag a spot in a lot that doesn't require a permit.
Zach, I'm a data guy by trade and also a guitarist, so allow me to add my 2 cents here.
Lots of people have played guitar and done it well since Hendrix, Eddie, Satch, Vai et all, but these few are considered ground-breakers (there are others but these are my guys). People have built upon what they started and have benefited from the experience of their vision. But they did their things, the way that they did them, first and we don't critique them- rather we are grateful that they came along in the first place.
Some of us probably have ideas to build upon this but I think we all can agree that we would just like to soak this one up for a bit first. Fan-freaking-tastic job bro.
Louisville -12.5
Florida -2.5
UCLA +5.5
Texas A&M -12.5
Washington +2.5
Clemson +2.5
I'm worried about Duke. The dookies always play us tough.
I'm in. I'm local to the NRV so no parking spots here either. But I can bring chairs and other tailgating supplies. I will also contribute a bottle of fine bourbon. I'd also be willing to help snag spots in the Prices Fork lot or somewhere else.
That was the worst trip ever. Packed only warm weather clothes. The only bowl game I ever went to. Drove it too.
This is an incredible post, awesome work brother! And it proves that Danny Coale is still open!
UCF - Just because
Mizzou - Bye bye Florida, get out of the rankings
UCLA - Will play it tight enough to keep it within a field goal
Texas A&M - I'm reminded of a Johnny Horton song...
Washington - Though ASU has better looking Coeds
Clemson - Coin flip...Clemson was heads and it came up heads
Im not crazy about the up-tempo approach. More fun to watch than greenberg's random pass for 25 seconds followed by OK, now try to make something happen, but I dont know that we will be able to recruit enough athleticism to gain an advantage in the ACC. As boring as the defense first approach was to watch and while it didnt win any fans on the selection committee, VT under Greenberg was 4th overall in ACC record until his last year, and for most years before that VT was actually 3rd after only dook and unc. Running all game might make us look better, but I dont think we will match that record.
I'm all for a charitable tailgate with fellow TKP'ers. I think that would be really cool. Not sure where we could do it though unless somebody can get there early and get set up in the Prices Fork lot
Turkey leg for you!
With this scenario, we'd definitely be in talks for it, but I doubt we'd get in. It would depend very much on what the computers do in the BCS rankings with our team at that point.
If, and right now it's a big 'if', our only loss is to Alabama, there's absolutely no way we're not in talks about it (considering we'll have faced and beaten 3 highly ranked teams at that point, assuming those teams don't blow it drastically in the second half of the season), we'll have shown our improvement and worthiness to be considered, especially considering how close (in the eye test) the Alabama game was not counting special teams buffoonery.
"UVA Football" has "football" in the name. Just saying.

We are learning as we go, but more than happy to help as well.
Great analysis. If there was some way to grade the route as well as catching I bet there would be an even starker contrast with that 2011 group of receivers compared to now.
But the difference in receivers at simply catching the ball is very apparent. Before the GT game I re-watched the 2011 GT game, possibly Logan's best game, and it was apparent that much of his yardage came from throwing it up for grabs into single coverage down field. In that 2011 game, these resulted in catches. When he did the exact same thing early this year, the result was usually an INT.
I like it. I'm planning on going to that game, but not 100% sure that I can make it just yet though
fair enough. i still want FSU to win against Clemson, have MIA beat FSU, then VT beat MIA. ACCCG will be a tough opponent regardless.
Absolutely, a good homemade icing applied within reason is a huge difference. There's nothing worse than a cake made from a box with 3 inches of crisco spackled on top. Even fondant becomes less offensive when made fresh.
I say we have Bud Foster teach the team about Defense. Or we could just have Bud Foster stare at the other team the entire game.
Can we get one of the students to make a huge Foster Face for the crowd to hold up during free throws and the whole game?
I caught the end of a women's volleyball game against Wake one year before the Midnight Madness or the equivalent. Those beautiful ladies reminded me of the Amazonian women from Futurama. Death by snu snu!
Definitely the best possible situation for movin' on up. This, with a little BCS chaos, and good things could happen for the Hokies. You know the thing about chaos? It's fair.

Awesome film breakdown. Incredible actually.
On a side note, based on the amount of time this had to have taken, you should really try and get out more. Go play hoops up at War, throw the pigskin on the drill field or go chase some tail downtown. That being said, outstanding post.
