For what it's worth, someone just gave me 8 cents to help me put a down payment on a house.
Yeah, or like my waitress bringing out another round even before I've finished my drink......strange, really.
I hate this move. I really think that this is a wrong move. Exum played ok last year, but it took him a while to adjust to playing corner. He was no where near as good as Facyson has been this year. I think he should get some reps, but no way should Exum start over Facyson.
Microfracture surgery is the kiss of death. Exum will be lucky to play anywhere near the level he used too.
But, to continue the complete uselessness of this feature...
I always find these hilarious, but the joke at your own writing took this one over the top. Most excellent work, good sir.
Also, if the government decides to screw you over for any extended length of time, I see a satire-writing career in your future.
Utah +4.5
Florida State -14.5
Georgia Tech +4.5
Auburn +2.5
Ohio State -5.5
Washington +6.5
What a lot of you are failing to realize is that Facyson will still be playing on the defensive side of the ball. He does not appear to be moving to play ONLY offense... He's seems good enough to be a contributor on both side of the ball, and so that's what the coaches are trying out. They aren't converting him to an entirely different position....
By the end of last year, Exum was a much better corner than he ever had been safety. Did you stop paying attention after the Cincinnati game? Or did you just not realize that teams were completely unable to throw to his side of the field starting at about the midpoint of the season....
UCLA --Hundley is good.
FSU -- Famous Jameis is good.
GT -- Vad Lee is go....haha jk. I think PJ verbally abused them enough after all the false starts and bad play to the point that they're afraid of losing.
Ole Miss -- Have to win after last week.
Ohio State -- Their QB situation is a lot like our DB situation.
Washington -- Sarkisian needs something he can make 72 font size and bold on his resume before sending it to USC.
Someone who hasn't read the community guidelines.
Fudge!
LOL at the Sporting News picture... this is why it's a bad idea to make sweeping generalizations without understanding all the circumstances (like Loeffler's tenure at Auburn). And really, the ACC's best coach is Larry Fedora?!? He's certainly a very good coach, but that's quite the bold statement.
Obviously, 5 games into the season isn't the entire story either, but they are looking pretty foolish at the moment.
Let's hope this gets me back on track...

I got so happy that this was up!

That's horrible.

I think that the most likely situation for Dabo in the near future is that Texas hires Will Muschamp, and the Gators look seriously at Dabo. Southern guy with Spurrier-esq charisma and an offense that will make everyone think of Urban. I think he'd also be considered at Alabama should Saban leave for the NFL/Texas.
I've also thrown around the idea that Texas pays big bucks to bring in the Dabo/Morris combo. They're one of the only schools that could afford it, and it would be a huge change of pace (for the positive) for them. It will be interesting to see what happens over the next few years.
In a statement posted on the schools athletics Web site, Air Force said, At this time, travel for all intercollegiate athletics is canceled this includes the Air Force-Navy game on Saturday, 5 Oct. Unless the shutdown is ended by Thursday the game will be postponed.
Not trying to be a groupie or anything, but you are hilarious. Anyone who does not appreciate the depth of your wit legitimately has no sense of humor (or is a complete moron).
Thanks for another hilarious write-up. I've been sitting here refreshing incessantly hoping for this to come up. Now, I have going to the game to look forward to the next couple of days.
A couple years ago (when they were truly god-awful), I saw a sign at an ND game that is, to this day, my favorite:
'Rudy would start this year.'
Simple. Elegant. Genius. I loved it.

Some toss-ups in there.

I think it's a little different when you're in their "territory," so to speak. I've met some really great UM fans, the majority of which actually went to Michigan. The ones who are referred to as the "WalMart Wolverines" are called such for a reason, and they outnumber the good ones. But, every fan base has the obnoxious sidewalk alumni, I just see more of the Michigan and Michigan State flavor here.
