As if we needed any more incentive to be loud. Side note: has anyone heard what the recruits at the Marshall game thought? That seemed to me like a fun game to play in and a crazy environment (despite the weather/opponent). I'd be interested to see what those kids thought.

31 and it's depressing how real this movie truely is. "If I heard,'someone has the case of the mondays' I'd hit them in the face." (something like that). So many opportunities, and so little courage to actually do it (kidding). It suprized me how correct this movie is. And Dilbert, that dude must work in my building.

awesome. lets make a great impression

I put A&M in there not because of any sort of defense, which I don't think they have, but I don't think it will translate to losses until they play the Alabama & LSU level teams. According to the last weekend, neither LSU nor Georgia have defenses, either, but I'm willing to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. By and large, I think all three would win against 110 other teams (hence the belief they are top ten).

my point is that if we're ranked high and are putting an exciting product on the field, then we could have night game most every week. kind like it was a few years ago. as it is we aint, so we dont. but you're clearly an expert on the matter, how exactly would you go about getting some later kickoffs?

Good quote from LT -

I think when things got tough last year, we just kind of started becoming individuals, Thomas said. And this year weve stuck together as a group and as a team and when things get tough, weve just been able to rely on each other to get us out of jams.

Weve been able to do so thus far, and I think thats just one of the big reasons is were all so close that we understand each other and were all willing to put it on the line for each other.

Well I'm going to have to throw in my two cents here:

Much like the Logan/Leal conversation, I'm tapping out of this.

That's it. Later, y'all, much love.

Because unfortunately, 17 year old boys who happen to be elite athletes read it. If she's slamming us constantly, that hurts recruiting. You wonder why everyone wants to play in the SEC? It's cause ESPN loudly and constantly worships the SEC, even when they don't have a great product. TSL wrote a really good article about it here (Subscribers only, sorry) which detailed the level of unfairness involved in ESPN's treatment of the SEC vs other conferences. For example, look at this weekend's slate. #25 Maryland vs #8 FSU? Noon game on ESPN. Here are the primetime games (also from that TSL article):
7pm, ESPN: #10 LSU at Mississippi State
7pm, ESPN2: Arkansas at #18 Florida
7pm, ESPNU: #24 Ole Miss at Auburn

Recruits see that and think that if they play in the SEC, regardless of which team, they'll be on primetime TV. It's a distinctly unfair recruiting advantage.

How about everyone goes to the game and screams their nuts off for 60 minutes? That's fun no matter what time the game starts.

Noticed that as well and that irritated me to the point that the video was no longer funny for how pathetically put together it was.

As a woman, I dream of a job like she has. It's really too bad that she doesn't understand nor do it the way she should.

You don't understand how conference television contracts work do you? As stated by others, this is not on a per school level. They may not even be able to broadcast games on CSN or other networks at night due to other scheduling conflicts. Quit acting like you know the entire situation unless you've actually managed to read the exact contract for broadcasting games for the conference.

If UVA ever wants to be taken seriously as a football program they will stop with this dinky and childish animations. Until then, they are the laughing stock of the Nation.

So much of what we do defensively depends on stopping the run, so, it's quite possible Hopkins is our defensive MVP at the current time.
