I just found out what Iamsecond bracelet Logan was wearing meant. He truly is an awesome guy, that's amazing.
Michigan State- Western Michigan, USF, Youngstown State, ND
Florida- Toledo, Miami, Tennessee
Louisiville- Ohio, Eastern Kentucky, Kentucky, FIU
USC- Hawaii, Washington State, BC, Utah State
Including FCS teams we're giving up 241 ypg after last night.
I have my dad (& sort of mom) to blame (& thank) for my Hokie obsession & lunatic outbursts. Both went & met at Tech at the end of the 70s. My earliest memory was watching the Hokies play the Waho's back in '94 and I remember my p's disappointment filtering down to me. It just took off from there.
First game I ever went to was the '01 Gator bowl vs halFaSsU. Disappointing. Made up for it though when they shut out the ho's in '06. Love the Hokies now (even more than my folks). Hokie high, fly or die!
The main stats include all opponents, not just FBS schools.

That really is crossing a dark line. There's no justification for it. This is a game at the end of the day and it's all supposed to be for fun.
You've given me an idea. My friends joke that he's "an impressive physical specimen" because announcers can't get enough of that either. We'll have to use this in conjunction with announcers talking about him. Thank you!
Sam Rogers let Logan borrow the awesomeness for the night
It's an amazing feeling, isn't it?
This is how people lose turkey legs.....
EDIT: I didn't actually downvote you, that was someone else.
We have a game we play during all the games we watch on TV. its the LT3 game. every time an announcer says logans name, the last person to yell out the phrase "how tall is he and how much does he weigh" has to finish their drink.
Sorry to hear that the mill closed down. I know where my parents are from the town almost folded once Remington operations slowed down, so I can only imagine how that impacted Franklin. I always enjoyed going down there and the games were generally pretty tight with y'all. Haven't been there to check out the town before, but I've heard nothing but great things. Wjat weight class did you wrestle at? I went to Poquoson.
I guess you're thinking VT will not play Clemson or FSU in the championship game. Because, as good as Cato was, Boyd and Winston are on the same level. The difference is the offensive line, WRs and RBs are much better on those teams. So, yea, let's hope we earn the opportunity to play against some better offenses!
Amen
I still have a hard time VMI could ever even be on the same field as VT. Just blows my mind. That's awesome that your dad was an alumn and played against VT for the win. We may be able to hang in rugby, but if LOLUVA is good enough to embarass VMI we all know how poor of a game it would be against VT. Awesome story and thank you for your service!
Three points -
1. Offensive line play. When that improves, so will our running game.
2. We took what GT's defense gave us. That meant LT had to pass and run the ball.
3. I believe Coleman is still not 100% - we'll need him for UNC.
Completely agree. He's not deserving of the vitriol he's receiving.
True but it also gave birth to the unofficial TKP motto: "don't deny my pussy touchdowns"
As soon as I read that, I thought of this terrible movie

Being from Bristol, I would love nothing more than a Saturday night opening week game against Tennessee. The night race in Bristol is usually the third weekend in August, so BMS would have anywhere from 5 to 12 days to tear down the scoring tower and install a field. Bruton could bring in Robosaurus and make a spectacle out of it. With the current seating capacity around 160,000, it's like combining Lane and Neyland stadiums. It's really a win/win for Burton. There has been talk of this in Bristol since I can remember, but the rumor is Tennessee would never agree to it.
He won us at least 3 or 4 games last year too. Not to mention a couple close ones in 2011.
I grew up in Patrick County only about 1 hour from Blacksburg. Sports was religion in my family/friends circle. I played football, baseball and wrestle from the time I could communicate all the way through high school. Baseball only in college. I started attending VT games in 1993 and never stopped going. I was hooked and Lane Stadium and Hokie football was my drug of choice. Coach Beamer and Foster was my dealers. 95 & 09 Miami games are my favorite. Take it a little too serious sometimes I am told but that's why I love TKP. You guys and gals seem to take about as serious as I do. After so many years of being a competitor and then over 20 years of being a fan you start to feel like the coaches and players can hear you and you feel like you are playing MLB in the middle of Fosters Defense every Gameday.
To be fair, the fans that are delusional for the Redskins are mostly UVA fans anyway.

I remember the one to Mangus, but that was either first or second down and it wasn't really set up. On third down when they are bringing in 5 or 6 guys, that is when you throw a screen or do a draw since you suck those rushers past you and blow right by them. I'm sure they have it in there somewhere, but I think Logan took a couple extra hits that he shouldn't have because of the routes the receivers took. One of the plays that sticks in my head, all three receivers ran In routes at different levels but they were all well past the first down marker when there should have been at least one right at the sticks since it was only a third and 6 or 7. That could be the receivers just not breaking in time, but that is something they should be situationally aware of.
