I saw him back in the fourth quarter. Also he was front and center to see Frankdancing.gif
He since deleted the tweet, but he basically said something along the lines of,
"To all the people telling me to go kill myself, I'll be back in Blacksburg at 2 am so stop talking sh*t with your thumbs"
You're assuming that they have minds...
Any work on Tariq Edwards?
He came out in the game and I was wondering about the injury, if any.
And East West 2, with Virginia Tech product Cartoons Plural
He just tweeted not long ago that he was receiving threats and all sorts of other stuff. Really unclassy for any of our fans.
People were sending him death threats about missing another field goal and then he posted on twitter for those people to meet him at his place when he got back from ATL
I agree, our running game most certainly did not improve this week. Worse, we basically abandoned a traditional running attack. That's not who we are.
What year did you graduate from Graham? I finished in 1997.
But we've given up FOUR more points than them! Quick! Delete that statistic before they see it and use it in their argument!
I thought only Sam Rogers was capable of this.
I still don't know what's wrong with Cody Journell, other than he was ready to fight some b*tches last night at 2 am in Blacksburg.
What more do you know of this, sir?
I read that this morning and thought to myself, "Wow, this is a really good piece for HD or the other chick writer for the ACC"
Then I realized one of the SEC blog writers wrote the review. It explained a lot.
Yeah the cost of tearing down and rebuilding the scoreboard would pale in comparison to the money they'd make putting on the game, it would still be a net win financially.
What's really fucked up (excuse my language) are people still sending him death threats after that game. He may not have the best personality nor make the smartest decisions, but he's still part of the team. He has yet to lose us a game, thanks to our defense, but it is just really fucked up that he is being threatened. I did hear he posted on twitter that any of the people that are giving him death threats could meet him at his place at 2am when he got back.
Nope...In the back of their minds they are thinking "Commonwealth Cup...What's that? Will it hold Zima? If I drink out of it, will Zima spill on my tie?"
I hear there was a mathtime show last night. Oh you helluva-engineers...
Yeah, why do they have injury reports? Just list all 85 players as questionable and call it a day. It's not info the press needs to have and to avoid compromising yor integrity, just stop doing it.
I'm the youngest of three brothers. The oldest one for a while wanted to go to VT but eventually found out that he wanted to go to JMU (and he was there for the 2010 game...sigh...) Back in 2004, one of my friends invited me to go watch the Hokies play Georgetown in DC. It was a great game and I was glad I was rooting for VPI the entire time and because we won :D
The next brother is a musician and he was considering going to VT for Music Technology. When he and I visited the campus during my sophomore year, I was just starting to get interested in Engineering and fell in love with the campus. He decided not to go initially; he bounced around two different music schools before going to NVCC and then I convinced him to transfer here! He's now a business management major.
After that visit, I had my sights set on doing Aerospace Engineering at VT. I was never the most impressive student and only took 5 AP/IB classes my entire HS career. I worked my butt off and with a 3.76 GPA, an 1160 (on 1600) SAT score, and a 27 on the ACT, which somehow got me into the Engineering program. My mom and I literally jumped up and down when I got the Engineering program because I thought I'd have to do University Studies in order to get into the program. What's funny is that I got waitlisted at JMU for their Integrated Science & Technology major. Their loss.
Even though there's been ups (making the Dean's List my sophomore year) and downs (having a 2.12 GPA one semester) I wouldn't trade being a Hokie for anything else!
I still have that issue with my wife...
Yeah, I think it figures that when the new offensive staff came in, everyone would be getting a fresh look. We were bound to suffer some attrition. The younger kids don't have to adjust to a new staff any more than any freshmen would have to. The old guys have a much harder time. Too bad, though, I thought he was working his way into the action. Cline should be great after a few seasons of this.
Yep - LT hasn't played well and forced the receivers to drop all of those passes and run poor routes until last night when they played like they should have played all year.
If you're basing the entirety of your criticism on stats alone, then yes, LT "proved the criticism he got over the first four games was valid".
I think the biggest thing to remember is that this game was close too. Gah Tech could still run their normal offense. They didn't have to worry about playing catch up too much until mid way through the 4th quarter. The Miami and BYU games were blow outs.

Some might argue the Sugar Bowl a bit...
