Jeff driskell is 100% of the reason I picked Miami this week against them. I think that Florida team is not as good As advertised. Great for the conference though
I was hoping the scored at least three more times when I wrote that haha
I don't think he's saying he's the best player in our secondary. Just that he's underrated which I agree with 100%. I really don't think we have a weak link in the back end. We loaded the box and dared them to pass the ball i expect to see that become a trend
I definitely agree he looks more comfortable in the backfield I like having him and mangus at TB. Screen game is potentially a big weapon
What a great day- I was a little freaked out by the sobriety check heading home on the blacksburg rd, but the day was awesome. (Not mention the ducks hanging 59 on the French .)
All ESPN sees is the $. So they are still the best.
I think after the jitters our D gave Alabama, Clemson whacking Georgia (and LSU last year), Louisville doing a number on UF last year, and now Miami on top of UF, suddenly the SEC is not looking all that invincible. I like it!
So many pom-poms. I want to vomit. Does anyone else hate those as much as I do? Every time I found one on my seat I threw it on the ground. We are Virginia Tech. We don't need silly bits of colored plastic attached to a stick to cheer on our team. That type of support is reserved for intellectually inferior schools (thinking SEC, but Michigan... come on!) My keys, my voice, and my heart will do just fine.
Who else was impressed by Joel Caleb at RB? He made that one TD run look easy - sort of glided / walked in. Also seemed to possess good catching ability coming out of the backfield (Trey did well too).
All I know is he hit guys and they went backwards.

I like that they do it a lot. It is odd seeing that but I think its great. My qb in NCAA 14 wears 88
anybody have an opinion on Caleb's running style? To my untrained eye I couldn't decide if he was just tall or ran a little upright. But I did like him running.
I am by no means an expert, but it looked like on Leal's deep attempt the defender just barely turned around. I didn't really see Parker make any sort of defensive effort other than trying to catch the ball. Definitely could be mistaken, but that is how I saw it.
It was an execution-dependent decision. If he's gonna attempt that throw, he needs to make the throw and/or the receiver needs to beat the defender. Neither of those happened and the result was an INT.
Muwhahaha!
Virginia Techs crowd was still bigger than the 58,502 that showed up for Virginias game against No. 2 Oregon in Charlottesville, something Hokies running backs coach Shane Beamer couldnt pass up, offering thanks to Tech fans and taking a dig at rival UVa on Twitter.
It wasnt a sellout but we still had the largest crowd in the state of VA today, he tweeted. By far.
I'm glad you all feel differently, I was pretty upset with the decision on the 2nd INT. I'm going to blissfully yield the floor on that one.
They only won by 7 more than we did.
+1 for that Kodak moment you captured. That was the moment in the game where we BeatBama.
I'm assuming between "cheese" and "that". I think he means he's lactose intolerant.
I would say FSU and Clemson CAN win their games given what we've seen so far but it's a long season. GT has no chance. It's been shown time and time again (Iowa and "Incorrectly spelled k-9s" to name a few) that a superior D-line will shut down the triple option. But yes #goacc
Patience is a virtue. I won't worry unless Sept 26th comes around without enough progress.
I shouted "you can't deny his pussy touchdowns" after Rogers had the ball. Got a lot of strange looks, but some high fives from fellow band tkp'ers.
Where was the punctuation supposed to be in this statement?

Well you're probably happy to be wrong
