Like the pregame said: "We deserve a better schedule, to go from Alabama to WCU is silly".
And they're right. The fans don't want to see us hit up pushovers. We end up doling out 300 thousand + for a (pretty much) guaranteed win.
Not saying Marshall and ECU will be as easy, but, we've played them. To Death. Toss a Kentucky, Southern Miss, or even a Cal or an Arizona in there. Just mix it up.
As far as behavior goes, I've read everything from things being thrown, to people getting pissed that our awesome new Hokie Vision is too loud, to peopled just being grumpy. It was our first home game too, I guess. The SEZ wasn't bad at all, except for the Corps basically dicking around with the swim team.
I never saw cops yell at kids for tossing girls in the air after scores at any game I've been to.
I play on AA with the sliders pushed up. Heisman is just unfair- I can move the ball on offense until the red zone, but the opposing QB is unstoppable and their RBs every 10 plays or just can't be tackled.
Ahh ok. I thought he was expressing a desire to eat good looking cheese.
Musberger said something along the lines of, 'Oh, we came to the game but didn't expect to be visited by Eminem!' Sounds to me like Eminem was in the stadium and asked to be on. He did not appear to be appreciated. Herbie was an awkward third wheel in the 'Summeral - Madden - Michaels - Musberger - Eminem' love scene.
Bonner it to VT's secondary what Ryan Clark was to the Redskins secondary back in the day. He quietly goes about doing his job so effectively that you barely notice him on the field. He might not be the best player, but he knows his role and enables others to make plays. Turkey Leg for Bonner
Near the end of that game, on the end of a run where, I believe BYU fumbled it looked like the running back was bent backwards. It also looked intentional to my eye. I'm going to go back and check the full game/highlights when they're available, if it was on purpose it would actually make me mad.
Or Texas is waaaaay overrated. Ash got hurt in the pride. He looked lost.

What the HELL happened to BYU last week to make them lose to UVA? The whole team must have gotten food poisoning from the Zima Welcome Basket... crazy
The siblings graphic with Fullers highlighted as "brothers" was pretty work as well.
"He came to my football camp six straight years." -I think this was meant as a compliment to WCU head coach Spiers, but did not sound like one.
In another thread, someone found that Logan has played in 34 games. Looks like ESPN's attentive team failed to write that statement down correctly.
Caleb looked sooo smooth on that TD run! He was weaving between blocks and defenders all the way to the endzone. It looked like he has good vision and great body control on the few carries he had today, and I look forward to seeing more of him.
I discounted that thinking i must have heard him wrong. Maybe he's been on the team for 34 wins total. (Do not knoe if its accurate and much too lazy to look it up right now

"Thanksgiving Feast came early" - on a sack
I tuned in late, so I was totally wondering about this, since I knew Gardner usually wears 12. At least this explains it
Gotta figure with ESPN broadcasting, someone is going to use this godawful phrase.
"Logan Thomas has 34 career wins, most in VT history, even more than star QB Tyrod Taylor."

How about "Vah Tech"? My soul cried a little at the prospect of three hours of that catastrophe.
"That was a worm burner" - on a toss to the receivers feet
Fuller's deflection on the first Bonner INT took an INT away from Fayscon, who undercut the route and was aiming for a pick six. Lucky bounce to Bonner.
But, that was one hell of an effort by Bonner on the second INT. JoeTKP called in that Sullivan would try a double move on Kyle, and sure enough, it was open if Bonner doesn't bust his tail to get over there.

There can be no doubt that we'll lean on the defense heavily to win games this year. It seems like they're eagerly up for the task, too.
