And Osterloh/Monsterloh as well. Maybe French can provide some insight as to how he would fit in the scheme.
'Were going to be disciplined. If were not, Im going to lose my mind.'
I loved many, many of the quick hitters from this post (thanks so much, by the way, Andy!). And while I'm sure some of my excitement is just related to hearing a new voice, with maybe some new catch phrases, you really get the sense that this guy is the real deal, and is busting his ass. I wouldn't charge that the old offensive coaches weren't out there trying really hard to win games - I mean, of course they were. But listening to Loeffler, you REALLY believe he is out there working REALLY hard to win games. Love it.
Not to mention McLaughlin and Pfaff. The "Fab Five" sounds cool, but this ain't Webber, Rose, Howard, King and Jackson here. Pretty...pretty...pretty good chance that all five of them don't play as a unit......
Apparently the Auburn faithful are all up in arms about what Lefty said last night regarding the dearth of talent at AU last year. Bill King discussed the topic this morning and basically told AU fans to look in the mirror, because Lefty's comments were spot on - though Lefty was not intentionally taking a swipe at Chizik or AU when he said what he said.
I like what I read, thanks as always Andy.
"Crystal Ball" is much more alluring than "Random Internet Jock-Sniffer Guesses At Where 17-Year Old May Go To College."
And a shorter name too.
This picture is somehow suggestive.......but I can't quite put my finger on it............
Great read, Mr Bitter.
Thanks for sharing.
It sounds like there is a vision, and then a specific plan to reach it. I'd like to hear more from Coach Morehead in time as well.
It sounds like the word for the day is 'patience.'
The great cop who builds dynasties.... and turns 5-star recruits into mediocre softies who would have trouble starting for Duke. I hear he puts on one hell of a cookout though.
Weaver will be gone by the time these coaches think about leaving. At least that's what I'm hoping will happen.
Can we just start a "Keep The Offensive Coaches In Blacksburg" fund now, for when Weaver inevitably decides not to pay them what they're worth and they decide to take higher-paying jobs?
Yea their crystal ball is a great marketing idea since it gives schmoes like us something to talk about during the long and boring off-season, but in all reality that's all it really is, a marketing gimmick.
Well played 247, well played.
Of everything I think Gallo plays center. I think Brady Taylor is a tackle, and Smith could develop into one, but I wouldn't go as far to peg their sides yet. Also, if Ford is QB1, he's a lefty, so they might but the best pass protector to the right side.
Was this current or past? What issues did he have?
You can't just drop a bomb like that and then walk away. Ask KennyHokie about doing that on here...
Someone who hasn't seen the finale might be very upset you told them this was from the finale :P
It's on my list of shows to watch, starting once I get moved into my apartment.
So all the 247 guys predicted Kentucky yesterday afternoon in their ever-murky "Crystal Ball." Even VT-insider Evan Watkins.
I like 247 a lot, much better than Rivals....but remember that the next time a Crystal Ball changes for or against VT. Those guys really suck at predictationing.
So does the Fab 5 line up like this:
LT: Brady Taylor
LG: Billy Ray Mitchell
C: Eric Gallo
RG: Colt Petit
RT: Tyrel Smith
Are Smith and Taylor the likely tackles? Is Gallo the likely center?
and we need lots
I'm coming from Blacksburg on Friday so that would actually be awesome. God I love Hokie Nation. We have 14 in our tailgate, but if you can't get that many then just however many you can get.
Same here! So excited for the future of our team. Great things are coming!!
I'm giddy as a schoolgirl right now. Still. Good gracious, I love Jeff Grimes.
Well according to Ice Cube, "Today was a good day!"
Leaving out the Carrier Dome, where Beamer is 1-6 so far. But HT is right, the wins in the Terrordome cancel everything else out
Whatever dude, I hear he's faster than Wilson. Guy probably runs a 4.1725
Loeffler was the OC last year for Auburn, who opened the season (and lost) against Clemson at the Georgia Dome.
I see AJ Hughes lofting balls so high into the air that Bama returners lose them in the white backdrop of the dome.

Gregory plays like I do with my kids. I'm great one week, then I can't move for two. Oh, you want to play tag? Sure, I'm up for it.........and now I'm in traction.
