I would not count Exum out of playing versus Alabama, but the last thing I want is anything to happen that threatens the long term health of a good kid like Exum. I can't recall a good story associated with microfracture surgery, so my confidence level has dropped significantly.
VCU had an off night against Michigan. You can't use that one game as a testament to the team's ability. If we did that, VT would be measured off of the UNC game. Or Pitt game. If VT beats VCU, VCU will have to be way off that night and VT will have to be spot on. I think it's going to be a blowout.
They are different players, but the numbers are starting to get tight. Grimes wants another lineman. We have to hold spots for Nnadi, Walker, Minor, Shai, and anyone else I'm forgetting. I'd be surprised if we took 4 WRs, not considering the tweeners, in this class.

Clearly you and several other people are of differing opinions regarding whether or not making fun of the looks of a girl photographed hanging out with our o-linemen at a party is a cool thing to do. You aren't going to change my opinion on this matter. You probably aren't going to change anybody's opinion on the matter. So just stop trying.

I personally feel that there are a lot of people overly sensitive about this for whatever reason, but I also understand TKPers' desire for keeping this a safe haven from the shitstorm that is the internet.
At this point I mostly just wish this discussion would cease so we can get back to discussing how we're going to #BEATBAMA and how Grimes is continuing to bring in the nasty hog-mollies up front
I didn't see anyone question whether that was a girl or not...maybe I missed something. If you don't want to be in a photo on the internet, don't pose for photo then. Clearly she was posing for this picture. She wasn't caught by the paparazzi or anything. Seriously, no one even knows who she is, what her name is or who she is friends with. For all we know she could have been a UVA friend from out of town visiting Blackburg. Lets not get so sensitive about a totally unknown person who we know absolutely nothing about. Maybe she was just photoshopped into the picture? She might be a closet Alabama fan sent to steal our OL secrets?? Really, I didn't see Low Brau even say anything offensive. As far as forums go, everyone here seems to treat each other with total respect and class...Personally, I just ain't worried too much about offending a random girl in a random photo.(not that I said anything offensive anyway) Just my opinion.

Well we wouldn't actually even have the opportunity to #BEATBAMA had he not come back. We would have backed out and Louisville would have filled in. Article talked about it a while ago, and I think someone posted it on here or another forum (not as good as TKP obviously) recently.

I hope our players and coaches don't feel like the "deserve" anything. Everything needs to be earned. It looks like the players have gotten that message after they thought they "deserved" a 10 win season last year.

I don't think it's a Proehl or Brown situation, they are very different players. I anticipate we would take them both if we could.
Ehhh, attrition. We got kids who aren't qualifying from last years class, we've got greyshirt candidates galore in this class and we've got a whole flock of current players on the team that are now coached by new guys...I foresee a bunch of transfers and "no longer with the team" guys before signing day.
Noah Brown's got a slot, just as much as Nnadi, Walker and Minor. And they better take Proehl if they can get him, because Brown is far from a sure thing at this point and we could use some momentum, any momentum.
