Special edition YouTube trailer for 50 days? I'm hanging on by a thread over here.

I do. If he is the starter and gets most of the carries, I think this is a lost season in the making. Good kid, works very hard, excellent speed. But, I do not see him as a workhorse back. I hope he proves me wrong, but I would prefer to see Edmunds get the work, and then use JC as a change up and get him in space.

And, based on the spring game and the film from other scrimmages, Edmunds was the guy who jumped out on film to me. He was clearly the best back on their roster back in fall scrimmages (I went to two, and he was getting yards on the #1 D running for the #3's), and looked just as crisp in the spring. He also is a one cut back, which is desperately needed in this system. When I did the film review of the spring game, Holmes had several holes that he missed because he was too anxious to get up field, and instead ran into a wall. Edmunds didn't have much space, but he had 3 very solid runs, and the long run that was called back was essentially all him with no hole. Kid could be very very good.

Yep, I downvoted the piss out of that. If those three things happen, we will achieve world peace, economic prosperity, and a national championship.

Same with "Virginia Tech University". Except Tyrod. He earned a pass, I think.

Tagalongs aren't even the best Girl Scout cookies. Also, way too many pies here.

Yep, and that will last until they say "start at left tackle or ride the pine at DL." He is at least two years from getting any action at DE, so we will see. Kid can be a good DL, but he can be an elite OT.

I actually met Wyatt Teller a couple of days ago by accident. Good guy.

I asked him if he was playing DL or OL. He said Dline, unequivocally. So there's that.

French has three dreams:

1. Teller plays left tackle.
2. Edmunds plays backer.
3. People respect his asinine dessert power rankings.

None are happening.

Looks like Monty Fenner and a bunch of other Oscar Smith kids will be there. Already expecting a lot from them if VT extends offers. Calling them under the radar kids.

Seen on some sites people are predicting 2-3 commits before the week is over. Not sure if Colt was part of that count. Either way I'm thinking at least one commit during/after camp.

Supposed to be a lot of 2015 kids to. This camp is definitely being hyped.

Nnadi will be a while but JC is working him hard.

People point to the fact that keeping Greenberg meant losing Green, and while Green was a fun story last year, VT still finished the season dead-last and will likely be picked dead last to start this year too. The way Weaver went about it was straight douchey...which some will say Greenberg deserved. I still feel that the athletic department is lazy with its hires and is stuck about five years behind the curve on a lot of things.

Can't comment on his style or tape b/c I was never a lineman, but he seems like a good dude on twitter and trying to thank everyone congratulating him. Speaks volumes about the quality of the kid!

Bad timing or not, Greenberg being fired was the right move. He was not the answer, and constantly blamed his players in post game press conferences. Not my type of coach. With Dodo already halfway out the door, I don't think you could have possibly kept Greenberg and Harrell, no matter when he was fired. Therefore, I'd rather take losing Harrell then still having Greenberg.

The sad part, is I just don't think Johnson is the answer. But I'm willing to give him time. We shall see, also not a Weaver apologist here, just think of all the shit he's done, this isn't on him.

That's French being optimistic they will move Wyatt to LT (not happening) as he was screaming "Teller to LT" at the recruit night earlier this year in Arlington to Coach Cav.

No Hokie who lives in hooville wants to live through a year between a LOLUVA victory over Tech and the next Commonwealth Cup. Having done that before, I'm all for never loosing to them again. The bigger the point differential, the better. These people can be downright insufferable anyway, they don't need more ammo.

The Midwest and up north are good breeding grounds for O linemen.
