I am hearing on the other forum I go to we have a commit already that will be announced this weekend. I don't know who it is but the poster who does seemed rather pleased with it.

What running back doesn't look good when given a chance to go north and south? That's not what defines a good or great back. Being able to dictate how you get north and south is a sign of a good back and something Holmes could not do. And like French said, often times when he did have holes he didn't know what to do with them. Agree to disagree.
And Edmunds hasn't had a chance to blow anybody away with anything. He hasn't played in one meaningful game yet. Let's let him play in some actual games before we start to compare/associate him with the poor play that Holmes gave us.

The worst I saw was when I went to a UMD-FSU game 4 or 5 years ago. Some FSU fans were holding up a sign, and then I turned around and they had disappeared into the crowd. And if you ever talk to a Maryland fan about why their team lost it will never be because the other team is better. As far as they're concerned the refs are always out to get them.

I had a dream a couple nights ago that a buddy of mine and I went to play golf with Saban. We never got around to playing golf, but just kinda pissed him off the whole time. It was fun.
I think the problem here is that A) This is a vastly different forum than Tosh.0 and B) None of us are Daniel Tosh.
I get that the comments weren't made with malice, and they may have even been humorous, but the others are right when they say it's a bad look to make fun of her.
Maybe he should be.

Maybe I have a blind-spot when it comes to Holmes, but I thought he looked pretty good when given a chance to get north and south. Didn't see many "great" holes, not in the spring game and certainly not last year. Edmunds has better top end speed, no doubt about that, but he hasn't blown me away with his vision and he doesn't pop off the screen to me the same way that RU or Wilson did.
Obviously I think Edmunds will be more productive then Holmes was last year, if only because he'll get more snaps and he'll be in a significantly better system. However, I'm not convinced Holmes wouldn't be just as productive in the same situation.

I want to see Saban's reaction to the punt block vs. LSU. Then I want to see that exact same reaction August 31. But this time, make it 7 points instead of 2.
I've blocked 1 punt, same situation but i've blocked FGs and PATs from the edge before. I dont think it is possible to block a punt when they arent in their endzone. I have had free runs at the punter and couldnt get there in NCAA'13
