USCe has great tailgating and the fans are great. i was unimpressed by the atmosphere once inside the stadium. and it was also the game where Lattimore shredded his knee last year so the atmosphere got even worse after that
Or walk-ons that went to the NFL?
jeff allen came from dematha (i know different sport but still), other than him i cant think of anybody.
They do the timing on the indoor track. I think they are legit. When they do timing they each run three times. It is track speed not football speed (is there a difference?). It serves as a reference for relative speed.
I think this list at this link is out of date. The media guide shows some top 10 changes happened in 2011. Notable was Wang outlifting big bro in the push jerk.
OMG I'M IN A GIF THAT I DIDN'T MAKE ON THEKEYPLAY! I'M FAMOUS. (only guy with MV cap on the wrong way near the back.)
Most of which shouldn't be repeated on a mostly family-friendly forum such as this one

In Cav's previous (recruiting coordinator) position, he was not allowed "hands-on" with recruits. Since he was admin, not coaching, he could not visit schools or coaches. He could (I believe) talk to and host recruits when on campus for visits. He could coordinate from behind the scenes. My guess is he will work with the alumni (which he will good at) and enjoy a well deserved retirement.
As a Gonzaga alumnus, I have always disliked DeMatha what with them being our biggest and (especially seen at sporting events) most hated rival. To my knowledge though, they send more athletes to UMD than any of the VA universities, as DeMatha is a Maryland school after all.
Thanks Joe!!! Learning more and more each day on here. :)
Starting just before 6:30 you should probably cover the eyes of young children around you...what he does to #52 on multiple plays might traumatize them.
So you'll be me basically. Nice.
That's the problem with Mo-town. Depending on where you are you get a different experience. Most of the WVU students aren't bad, its the non-students that are horrible. Last time we played in Mo-town my buddy got jumped in the bathroom while taking a piss, he turned around and got cold cocked. My wife's entire family outside of her (she's a Hokie) went to WVU so I'm excited to see the games again.
If you are going, travel in packs, its the only way to defend yourself against drunk, toothless, hillbillies!
Hang out with MVs and you'll learn a few good songs.
Tardar Sauce always gets an upvote from me
I believe this is because Stinespring just got moved to his new position and took a more active role in recruiting. This saves us some money since we would be paying the two of them to do the same job. Hopefully Cav will be happier in his new role because I know he wasn't pleased with being moved at first.

Your original comment had the correct HTML, but what you put in the src="" was a path to a file on your local machine. You need to upload it somewhere first, I suggest imgur.com because it's free and provides the correct embed HTML. Once you upload it, copy and paste the code underneath "HTML Image (websites & blogs)" and paste it into the comment box on TKP.
FAIL! I apparently do not know what I am doing....will figure it out and re-post!
@Kenny...it looks like you downgraded your post subject from "Huge News" to "Good News". Good call.
Weaver confirmed that long-time Tech personnel Billy Hite and Jim Cavanaugh are being reassigned within the athletic department and will no longer be part of the football staff.
Hite coached running backs at Virginia Tech from 1978-2010 and Cavanaugh strong safeties and outside linebackers from 1996-2010 before both were moved into personnel roles in a staff shakeup prior to the 2011 season. Hite served as assistant to the head coach and team advisor the last two seasons, while Cavanaugh was director of recruiting and high school relations.
Weaver said their positions within the athletic department should be finalized early next week and didnt want to comment specifically until then.
He said their positions within the football program will probably not be replaced.
Cavanaugh too? I thought one of the reasons to move him off the road was so he could be hands on with more recruits. I'm a bit concerned now.
Maybe now with him going back to an alumni position there it will build a pipeline

I want us to hold on to the Black Diamond Trophy
