Hopefully this will keep a chip on the big fella's shoulder all the way to Bud's meeting room.

WVU will always be our biggest rival to me. But with that said I have not interest in playing them. No fan base or team should have to deal with such horrific fans. They can live in Big12 irrelevance.

Or do the coaches deserve the credit for coaching-up a bunch of 2 and 3-stars to compete on a field with 4 and 5-stars?

24/7 doesn't seem to know a damn thing about Nnadi. I like it better that way.

PSU has always been considered the left out, geographically and since it was one of the latter to be in the B1G. Definitely rumored that talks were happening as it would have been a great fit. The sandusky case was said to hurt, as the ACC didnt want to bring that scandal in. Supposedly the B1G added UMD and SU to try and give them more local opponents. Shame, would have been huge.

The five best. I'll say the five most important:

1) Dietrick Bonner
2) Andrew Miller
3) Trey Edmunds
4) Josh Stanford
5) The 3rd corner, whoever wins the job.

As much as I'd like that seems like very wishful thinking.

I would be thrilled with a home and home with Penn State, but that would not make our new conference opponents at Pitt very happy.

We owned Marion from 92-95. I take no credit for anything that has happened since. The Snodgrass kid who played running back and linebacker in 95 was one hell of a tough kid.

Speaking of PSU...I've always had this hunch that the reason the Big10 snatched UMD and Rutgers was because the ACC was having some discreet discussions with PSU about them joining us. Something about the timing and the comments that the Big10 commish made. Anyways, that was entirely random.

Somehow have a feeling that the DT play wil be crucial this year for everyone else to make their plays. So assuming that LT makes less mistakes, Skip Hopkins gets my #4. And Maddy #5.

Back in the days, Stinespring would have exclaimed : "Our next QB!!"
Just kidding.

Anyone found it interesting that we have to fight off PSU for these two?

Yes, they said Cornwell has some trouble with being very coordinated. Interesting that Park was the better guy (still they talked about a 10% chance of a boneheaded play). To me, the most exciting part was seeing a VT QB commit being praised for his accuracy. Not size, not mobility, not arm strength, but accuracy. I will take it any day.

I'm all for playing WVU again (I mean, we've got a freakin' trophy for the matchup), but honestly I would prefer it be a pair of neutral site games. I have no interest in seeing our fans or players head into Morgantown and deal with that garbage. I loved it when WVU came to Lane, but never felt comfortable watching the boys play in up in Mo-Vegas.

Andrew Luck? Yes, it's a little premature to say that Ford will be comparable to one of the best college quarterbacks of our generation.
