yeah, I can see the denial. I was upset at first, because he seemed like a lock. But for him to switch like that, and for Ford to be so VT (he changed his twitter background and everything) makes me like Ford more. I want kids to want to be a part of the program. Nothing like having a top rated player not play as well because he settled for the school or doesn't want to be there. Like that recruit that is going to honor his commitment to FSU eventhough he doesn't want to be there. Good luck with that.

After one game of the demo, the play seems much smoother than 2012. I didn't buy 2013 because of how bugged 2012 was (all the new features didn't work or were absolute crap). Seems like I'll be buying this year's version.

Side note (and one more school they can piss off)...Pitt won 9 national champsionships, including 5 in football (you know...if you're going to listen to and trust the NCAA records).

Tech athletic director Jim Weaver couldn't be reached Thursday in his office. He won't address Holmes' situation until he returns from vacation, which won't be until at least next Friday, according to Tech administrative assistant Carmela Smith. Tech football coach Frank Beamer also is on vacation.

damn, as of an hour ago I was heading back to work for the day.
Maybe CFB knew Cornwell was out anyway, and didn't think it was worth changing his plans. Based on what DC5 said in a couple of the articles I read, he knew all along that he was going to Bama, and seemed to just hit VT up with no intention of changing his mind. Maybe CFB was onto that and figured whats the concern.
In addition, who knows how long we were really working on Ford. Maybe Ford has been the target for a while. Seems Reavis' tweets would help enforce that argument, because we were going to get good news, and then DC5 and Park dropped out of our running.
