Maybe that's why it said "mediocre acc team." It all makes sense now.
Was going from bottom to top, but okay
So I was thinking about this over the weekend and as shitty as last week was, when was the last time we were in the running for the #1 recruit and 2 of the highest rated QBs? It really sucks that we didn't land them, but in years past we rarely would've made it to top 5 status with recruits like this.
It doesn't hurt that Ford committed. Now onto the Nandi and/or Brown and some big ass country fed man-children for the O-line
Here's to hoping they have a fragrance titled "Big Al's at 1:45 AM"
I was skimming through and somehow read "Glennon" instead of "Gannon"...needless to say I was confused.
If they'd just get the message that women should smell like freshly cut grass or freshly cut lumber the world would be a better place.
So call me a redneck. What.
Hah I tend to be sarcastic
*edit - Bucky is athletic enough that whether he plays QB or not, he'll be just fine.
If he's doomed to an NFL career as a safety, I think he'll take it.
Meh... I could understand why. I grew up watching Gannon, and even Joe Montana is just stories and archived footage in my mind. Obviously they were fantastic players in their time, but I don't have any firsthand knowledge to go on. So, maybe, Gannon just came to mind first.
I'm not sure you understand what "doomed" means.
Smells like Wahoo tears, aged in oak barrels for 8.5 years. #decadeofdominance
yeah deadspin called it "pompousity in its highest form"
i get that it's a corny marketing thing but "pompousity in its highest form"? huh?
Subtle notes of cannon fire, turkey legs, and bourbon?
Oh my god.....I had completely forgot about the Scrod.....that was some nasty shit....

Thanks for sharing - that was very poignant.
I've always just figured that if Bucky doesn't work out at QB maybe he'll be doomed to be the next Kam Chancellor.
I agree, it's still an open competition, nothing is gauranteed. For all we know McMillan steals the show, or some other guy.
I don't even think Leal is near a lock for next season, he has a head start, but still has to work for it.
Bucky Hodges is going to get his. If he comes in willing to work hard and he picks up the offense quickly, there is no reason the starting job can't be his in 2015 (or 2014, depending on how Loeffler and Leal get along).
With that being said, a coach who has a reputation for being a QB guy like Loeffler is, the first recruit he brings in will get a lot of attention. I think Ford is a more refined prospect (his footwork in the pocket is really, really good) but is slightly less gifted athletically. It'll be fun to see how the QB battle plays out over the next couple of years.
I got mine Thursday and had no problem buying. Surely to goodness they aren't already sold out.
I had the same issue. I'm calling the ticket office in the morning and will post what they tell me.
Minus 1 for listing Gannon over Unitas, Montana, and Namath
his ass is everywhere
Also, a Mr F for Arrested Development fans...

That's what I was hoping. Sometimes it's hard for me to pick up on internet sarcasm though.
Anyways, +1 for the optimism.
