But that was before he upgraded the infield. I think part of it was that he was going to do the upgrades after the football game.
Though, if we became interested, I'm sure he'd put the money up again.
Yet another reason why I root against the deadskins.
This is poetry.
NEVER PLAY ANYTHING AT FEDEX AGAIN. THAT PLACE IS NOTHING BUT BAD JUJU FOR US.
Would that make MD7 Shane in the Walking Dead metaphor? His benching could be symbolic of something, and all he did was cause problems despite his freakish strength and abilities.
if she weren't so annoying.
It would be epic if someone figured out a way to stage that football game in Bristol Motor Speedway
I would much rather see us start an annual rivalry game with Tennessee than revive the one with West Virginia.
I think you mean dipshit owner of your favorite NFL team.
do it every year at fedex field, shit would sell out in 5 minutes
Michigan's engineering program is outstanding. I don't get why he would go there for business when he seems so interested in engineering.
Maybe I'm just slightly biased since there business school is named after Stephen Ross, the dipshit GM of my favorite NFL team. Don't do it Hand!
I just don't see it. This would be a remarkable upgrade.
Marcus Davis on why Sherman was let go/hired at Perdue and why Hokie WRs have been drafted recently:
"I wouldn't really say it was him," Davis said. "It was more player-coaching than anything. We taught each other, especially when Jarrett (Boykin) and Danny (Coale) were here. I sat in the back seat and just learned a lot from them. And when they left, we kept pushing each other."
We pulled 2nd place to the Hoos. It wasn't really that close. Not sure what happened but I know the DQ on the last relay really hurt. We would have got 3rd place in it but the judges said one of our guys left too early. Scobeard could give you a better analysis though.
I guess I always miss those nights. That would make sense, as 1:30 is such an awkward time anyway.
He's humble enough to respond to fans on twitter and he appreciates the keyplay love
@hokatriots thanks man and wow that was very nice of them— Erick Green (@egreen11vt) March 4, 2013
It will definitely be interesting to see how both Loeffler and Logan mesh. Hopefully both can push each other to get rid of the demons that were subpar seasons for each last season. I think item number one is going to be re-instilling confidence into a player that looked completely alone out on the field last year.
I agree. If we offer enough of these kids late in the process, maybe it yields one stud to go along with the rest of the class that's probably been recruited for the last 3-4 years.
Don't forget ziploc bags of urine. Despite this I would be pro rekindling the rivalry.
Weaver does have input on game times such as Austin Peay last year. if you listen to him on TTL he reiterates every year that "non-televised" games will all be played at 1:30 (his descresion) to give fans an extra hour and a half to travel to the games.
I can't make this stuff up!
How did this all turnout? Don't really know where else to even begin looking for this type of info. Thanks!
1) Leadership - it's amazing how good leadership can make a good team, great.
2) Offensive line toughness - I no longer want to see Wang being pushed into the backfield at the snap by a guy 100#s lighter! Tip of the spear.
3) Defensive line toughness - see #2 above. I think we were a little soft and full of ourselves at the start of last season. That tough "none shall pass...or run" attitude of the 90's 2000's D was the thing of legends. If the other teams O cannot get a push, game over. If Bud can make the other team one dimensional (stop the run and focus on the pass)...it's game over!
But to "terrify" the FBS, he better be able to complete above 60% of his passes, and really he needs to get close to 70% to really be a dominant passer. I sure hope he starts out well against Bama and continues upward against the balance of the ACC. Would be awesome if he rebounds 9% above his sophomore year stats after sinking that much below them as a junior.
Be nice to have a running game not focused on the QB as well, that might help him concentrate on passing instead of running for his life all the time.
And if Acree can play RT... Big guy, but couldn't cut it on the defensive side (where they coach well). I hope he is good as his potential.

It's Beamer who doesn't want to play WVU anymore. I was speaking with Vegas Robinson one time at a tailgate (he was #6 for the Hokies back at the end of our Big Least days) and he said that during pre-game stretching and things like that, a fan threw a HELMET at him. A mining helmet. Yes. A mining helmet. Vegas was captain for that game as well. He said that Coach Wiles told them that all of the captains need to put their helmets on as they went for the coin toss. Vegas asked why, and sure enough, after he put his helmet on, a battery hit him on the head.
