Awesome find. I always like to re-read this stuff with hindsight. Did Tapp ever play inside? This was my sophomore year, but I don't remember him playing at 268.

I loved the defense, I guess that was more directed toward the offense. The defense really got me excited for things to come.

Yeah, sometimes when I'm sad, I'll watch the clips in French's review of the bowl game. I'm especially fond of the ones where Jack Tyler is a jedi and just blows up those 2 running plays all by himself. He shoots the gap, pops the ball carrier and then runs his feet til the dude's on the ground. It's beautiful.

I'm guessing healed if he is pushing as much weight as he is (see winter conditioning post).

Gentry and Ferguson are the only two in the picture that deal with football. A lot of former players are the assistants that help Gentry accomplish a lot of what gets done in the weight room. He is a great guy though.

KILLJOY!

Maybe it's a good thing that Tech isn't gonna play Clemson this season until the ACCCG. I want to play them again. REVENGE!

It's kinda funny you say that. I remember when I was a Sophomore in high school my brother was a Senior on the Academic Team (yea, I really am Indian). The categories weren't revealed until you decided who was going to play for your team that round, so they let some other kids go since he had gone for like 5 straight rounds. The category ended up being "College Team Mascots". These kids were getting every question right until that round and then I think one team got Oregon's right and that was it. They weren't hard either, one of the questions was Florida and nobody knew.

I wouldn't of thought of that at the moment either.

but I damn sure wouldn't of guessed MIT, theschoolthatleavesabadtasteinmymouth, or W Michigan.

these 'smart' people don't follow collegiate sports.. which is sad. :(

I read that as they left him one on one. Not safeties didn't play well but rather they weren't playing schemes with safeties over the top.

Bud said on Tech Talk Tuesday on 910AM last night, he expects Exum to recover like Adrian Peterson did. I want to see him decimate opposing receivers!

Can't find the video of the interview. But TSL has notes in an article titled "Hand Breaks Down Top 5" Says the same thing I said above.
