I think the Tebow hype machine that made him a big deal is what's going to kill his career. Nobody wants to deal with that. I wouldn't be surprised if the Jets took Smith.

We Were in the Big East. That was our last year there. 2004 was our first year in the ACC.

Essentially as long as it takes for Fairchild to see the team as a whole and realize he should be trying to get out while he still can. If we haven't heard anything within a week, there's no hope for the guy, he's gone.

1 and 2 are in my top 5 favorite movies and blue streak is pretty funny.

Not that I think Tebow is a solid QB, but I'm sure we'll hear about where he goes.

With such a weak QB class this year, and the desperate need for QBs in the NFL, this is going to be an interesting off season for solid back-up QB's (Smith, Cousins, Tebow, Taylor... etc.)

barring injury or a blowout I don't see that happening, like those above me have said. Unless there's some gadget 2-point conversion play Harbaugh the Elder designed.

yeah, hard to root for anyone in dallas even if they were hokie greats. If the RO would have come to the NFL sooner I think the skins would have picked him up when he came out. I honestly thought they were going to draft him that year anyway.

He's on the practice squad...things actually got worse from there. He tore his ACL in his left knee back in november, so he's been out since then.

Is Coale still with the Cowboys? He broke his foot in the pre-season and din't make the team, I think. Also, Tyrod in a cowboys jersey would upset me deeply.

Cowboys. It'd be awesome to see Tyrod go to Dallas and reconnect with Coale and make great things happen.

...one can dream..

...from wherever he's sitting at on the bench or standing on the sideline.

I'm almost certain we won't see him get any PT unless SanFran takes Flacco out.

No offense to Tyrod, but he is not nearly as good of a quarterback as Russell Wilson. Tyrod is significantly more athletic, and has a much stronger arm, but as a total package quarterback, he's not even close. Russell has a large edge in accuracy, decision making, and football IQ.

I don't think this a good match-up for Tech. Miami is very athletic and to put it bluntly we aren't. Miami is very good on the defensive side which doesn't bode well for anyone not named Green. However that's why the game is decided on the court and hopefully the good guys prevail. I see us keeping close though, with a rocking Cassell and a wacky 9pm start time being 2 factors. Miami 74 Tech 66

There are two kids at my school who tore their ACLs almost within the same timeframe. Both of their problems after 6 months weren't the strength in their knee. It was the confidence they had in it. Tone will probably be fine after 6 months and he should have all of August's scrimmages to get his confidence up.
